Hi Enjoyed reading this recent blog...wow, China! How many thousands of miles have you gone so far? I will try to check back but because I don't have internet at home right and it's almost time for me to head out of work for the weekend, I probably won't be back on until Monday. Have a great weekend of sightseeing! Let me know if you need a ride home from the airport, etc. E
Today's Blog Hey Michael, I have not checked your blog since before Thanksgiving. I am trying to get caught up and am going to start reading the latest one. I'm really enjoying reading about the train...I always enjoyed riding the train and how it clicks and clacks back and forth...But, hey 5 days seems like a long time (especially without a shower!). It must be nice to be off the train. I'm going to read your blog now.
Metro "but big bank-vault like blast doors similar to the kind seen at SAC headquarters"
You are very observant. These hidden door is difficult to see.
Hey Mike. Hows it going? Love the pictures. Our favorites are the Badger game and the hotel room. Happy Thanksgiving, did you get any turkey? We just had tons and Bonnie's house. Take care of yourself and have a great time. Keep the pictures coming, love them. Try and get the Badger game on Saturday. I'll wave to you in the third quarter. Talk to ya soon.
Cannot wait to hear more! Sounds like you are having a great trip, but did you really eat Borscht? Yuk! Anyway, cannot wait to hear about the train ride to Mongolia and see pictures from that trip. Russian cap and camo parka could be a new fashion trend...I'll have to start looking at the Asia papers to see if it's caught on. Cheers! Heather
Peter Not only were people rubbing his legs, I had to wait for several people to climb down out of his lap before I could take my pics. The locals seem to like climbing up on monuments for pictures! Yesterday in Red Square I noticed several Japanese tour groups who would stand in front of a selected "famous site" and all jump up in the air at the same time for the picture. I saw 3 or 4 groupd do the same thing. "Flying" shots must be big in Japan !
Hey you! I just to say a quick Hello How Are Ya Doing...These photos are amazing..Hope you are having the time of your life...and thank you so much for the calls on my BDay! It was a really fun day! Take care and I will chat with ya soon!
