Congratulations Well done on giving such a fantastic account of all your adventures! Spent today in Largs with your Dad .I had baby James with me and we enjoyed our walk with your Dad and seeing Martin too.
hello Hi gordon, its alex here x parts center.I hope all is well ,I have been pointed in this direction by john after finding out you have been travelling. The last i heard you were at the dreaded plumb center :) Im glad to hear your living the dream and doing something different and i look forward to seeing any updates.
Hola! Great to hear from you mate. Don't worry the ankles are still going strong though I had a couple of wobbles while hiking in the Andes yesterday. Scenery was outstanding though. Weather is actually pretty similar to Scottish summertime up here in tyhe mountains...changeable! Getting our fair share of rain but when its hot its hot. I've got plenty of photos of the Pailon and a video too...I tried posting them last week though the internet couldn't support it. I suppose I should be thankful I've got tinternet up here let alone doing fancy things like uploading photos!
Hows things with you? Apart from Russia have you been anywhere else with work? I understand LTL was in San Fran? Send my love!
United and AC going strong still!! Martin is off to Rome for the game this weekend...what a mess. Even by Roma's standards!
cycling, climbing, rafting... danger! Ay-oop lad, glad to hear you're dicing with death over there on a daily basis!
Hope you had a great birthday in the midst of all this as well, your most exotic one so far. How's the temp over there? I see you're sporting the classic shorts and sandals, a far cry from my trip this week when it never got above -18, bloody Ruskies. Any photos of the Pailon del Diablo? It sounds amazing.
Glad to hear you're already set up with a volunteer placement and (predictably) meeting and befriending plenty of people. Keep the blog posts coming!
All the best bud,
Pete
ps Careful with those salsa lessons you're inevitably going to end up taking - you'll probably want to get those glass ankles of yours strapped up...
Happy birthday! Glad things are going so well - hope the rural life is not too much of a culture shock! It will be a rather different birthday from usual - have a great day.
Hi Clare good to hear from you. Thats a cracking photo of James on facebook with his big blue eyes!
All good here...I've just arrived on the Andean farm where I'll be spending the next 2 months volunteering. It's off the beaten track to say the least!!
Hope you are all well!
Gordon
Alright Dougie...good to hear from you! All good now. Just arrived on the Andean Farm where I'll be spending the next 2 months volunteering...its a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Quito!

Cool photos Hi mate,
Aright? Glad you made it across. Looks completely different from Milan but smog is just as bad. Sorry to hear about the garrys, just ask for some bread and water.
Surely they would allow you on the dance floor for a bit of Guiness fuelled air guitar!!! Have they never seen a Scotsman in Snobs nightclub its a sight to behold.
Textbook That's a textbook start. Good work. I'd be bitterly disappointed had those topics not been brought up with the old gent. What else are you to talk about in a main square after all? Indeed.

Fantastic!
Thanks for sharing your experiences so vividly! And the pics are fantastic. Careful with the jungle juice, though!
