Home at last! Amazing pics! A great climax to a fantastic adventure. It was good to see you home safe and sound, though! Can we expect to benefit from your expert knowledge of steaks at Christmas dinner?!!
Catching up on your fantastic adventures! Hi Gordon, thought your last blog was brilliant you really have a wonderful way with words. Miss Brown would be so touched her English lesson made such an impression on you! Just returned from Scotland, great to see all family, your dad on excellent form and Largs on a sunny day was one of the highlights of the trip. Can't believe you're heading to Patagonia - John will be so impressed. Take care, Angela x
Thanks Angela. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Can't believe you had a sunny day in Largs in November!
Just back from Patagonia and managed to visit the welsh communities. Your postcard is on its way!
Thanks Julie. Hope all is well back home. Saw a photo of the kids on Facebook...the girls are looking very grown up and can't belive the change in James!
We need to see about getting you syndicated! Sounds incredible, I\'m deeply jealous. Although if I may say so the combination of the world\'s most injury-prone man and the world\'s most dangerous road is frankly asking for trouble.
Stay Safe,
Pete
Fantastic Adventures Hi,Gordon
You certainly deserve credit for all you have achieved I think you will be publishing a book when you come home.Photographs are fantastic.
Hi Angela great to hear from you! Saw some photos of the kids...can't believe how grown up they're looking! They certainly look like a handful! Clare's party looked great too...Clare Price was never going to celebrate her 30th quietly was she...
Sorry for the delay in getting you your Patagonia postcard - I've reached Argentina but headed straight to Buenos Aires to find some work. I'm currently working in a bar and teaching English so might prolong my stay for another month...but don't worry I'll be going to Patagonia before I head for home!
Pass on my congratulations to Chris!
What an incredible summer!! Just spent evening reading through your blogs what a fantastic time you have been having and all those incredible people you have met! I'm so pleased your dreams have come true and you finally reached Lake Titicaca and chuckled at the Jesus Bathroom project there had to be a reason for you spending that time at Plumbs in Smethwick and Cannock! Your writing and photos are wonderful and you decribe your adventures so vividly.
So sorry not been in touch John still in Cheltenham but staying in caravan as hours so long; I've been spending a fair bit of time there or else in Notts babies are doing well and great fun. Been up for Clare's 30th having big gathering, many of her pals you will remember I'm sure, not surprising she has no voice tonight! Chris has just heard he's successfully completed masters and should start working in one of your favourite places (Smethwick!) very shortly. We are in Scotland at beginning of November not sure when you are back but maybe we'll catch up then.
Much love
Angela and all the Stourbridge cousins x
Salt of the earth Gordon, your pictures and experiences just get better and better. Just as well Ma didn't receive prior notice of your cycle ride from La Cumbre to Coroico. Think we'll just stick with the other Cumbrae! If you'd thought your introduction to Argentina was going to be trudging towards a border crossing at 6am you'd have taken it with a pinch of salt, of which there seems to have been rather a lot from where you'd come. Looking forward to hearing of your exploits in Argentina. Orrabest, ma and pa.
Wow, looks incredible! Wow, Gordon, that looks incredible, such amazing places. I want to go. You'll need to bring us back one of those wee blanky things to strap the baby on our back and we'll be off :-)
I've been saying "Wow!" since I read your latest episode yesterday! The reason I haven't commented before is that I didn't have enough superlatives! You have achieved great things, met some wonderful people - and have described it all so vividly. It must be really hard to up sticks and move on. Hope your next stage is just as fulfilling. God bless.
job well done! Gordon we are speechless and overwhelmed with your blog. Tremendous achievement.
What a wonderful bunch of volunteers - personally we couldn't have left wee Pepe behind!
A Northern Savage Who mentioned anything about reading...I only said I was captivated by the photo! Absolutely loving it here and can honestly say I haven't given Plumb Center a second thought! Looks like you guys are having the time of your lives as well...great blogs!
All so believable.... ....apart from the comment about getting an atlas when you were nine, nobody that far north can read at that age surely?! Glad you're enjoying it, beats selling toilets eh?!
Hi! Hi Angela sorry to hear about your illness...hope you are feeling better and that John is looking after you!
Getting ever closer to Patagonia...its looking like I'll be there early to mid-August.
Take care and get well soon!
Gordon
Gordon's further incredible adventures!! Wow a little trek in the Andes backwards sounds pretty impressive scenery must have been breathtaking thank goodness you were prepared after your stroll up Snowdon!! Wondering if you are edging closer to Patagonia and all the Welsh? Very touched by your visit to St Martin's tomb & feeling of closeness.
Feeling very sorry for myself here trip to Scotland had to be cancelled at last minute (should have just taken off) due to chest infection turning to pneumonia but hopefully we'll go in Summer. Take care looking forward to reading your next blog - your writing & photos are just wonderful!
Hi Angela great to hear from you. Freddie sounds like a right wee terrier! I heard about the big Black Country Derby...at least the Baggies are safe, thats the main thing! Great news for Chris...I'm sure Smethwick will keep him busy!
Love to all and have fun in Scotland!
