You would.... Hi Travis! Don't ask me how I found this because I really don't know.
Good to read about your adventures! I'm so glad you're getting to do something so amazing.
you sure have had quite a month. get that commercial up on YouTube or something so we can see it. Those mountains are amazing and I love the picture "walking". Glad to hear you are doing good.
You know jesus, he is pretty unpredictable, so know I dont know. Yes I can watch videos, I use the little internet places around here so send on. and your right thats what she always says.
I am one of you now Did they say if or when Jesus is coming back to visit? I might go check that place out if so. It sounds like you're so valuable to the people there that they may start trading you for currency. Do you have fast enough internet there to watch online videos? If so, I've got some sweet things I want you to see.
Happy Birthday Hey man I forget to tell you Happy Birthday when I talked to you last. Sorry. Anyway, sounds like you class likes you. Maybe next year we can celabrate your bithday and Brody's birthday together at Chuckie Cheeses. What do you think? Happy late Birthday. Talk to you later.
" WE ARE NOT WERID MAN"- THERE IS DIFERENT CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD Hi Travis:
I think you are enjoying your stay in Peru ( Lambayeque area) , I hope the things make more sense for you now, today for fisrt time I read you blog the pictures and comments that you and yours friends share, I would like to tell you that you can take more advantages of the beautifulness of the country area , maybe a beautiful picture or comment of the museums, ruins, beaches or the friendly people that you meet , people who offered you friendship , your pictures maybe good , but in some of them only shows bad things that every country has, I think donkeys you can find in pretty much every country in the world, the pictures and comments about a place looks like a third world country looks like derrogatory remarks, sound like you never saw a cow in a yard , chickens, ginea pig or donkey before , I don't think that is the case, everything is part of the country culture the same as well US has their own cultural background, I recomended to you apreciate the beautiful things that other travelers admire from Peru. Will be beautiful share those Cultural things too.
Good luck in your stay and trip, trip that supouse to be a Wonderful Cultural Experience.
Best regards
Wilma
Travis, Have been reading your past blogs. It's good to know that youare alive and well. Will pray for more of the same. Sounds like things have been interesting. Maybe we should send some black hair dye and tan in a bottle so you'll be less of a target. Your pictures are great. Nothing lost in translation there. It's been the same ol' same ol' here, just waiting for it to warm up a little. Wish I had some good advice for you. Guess you'll have to muddle along on your own. Be aware and take care.
Sandra, I dont know about other wools, alpaca and vicuna are in the llama family but have much softer wool..I dont know about allergies to them...I was pretty surprised that I was alergic...but maybe it was the dust. Im still with Wilmas mom and they should be home by the time you read this. It did help to have robert here...now it gets interesting....good luck with the book also.
Taking food from strangers Now, Travis, didn't your mother tell you not to take food from strangers? I can't believe you're allergic to Llama wool, I actually thought of that if you brought a shawl back. Maybe, you should srap that idea. I'm allergic to all kinds of animals. Are you staying with Wilma's mom? Are you going to be there a while? When does Wilma and her family come home? Has it been a help having her husband there?
well... The Peruvians pulled out all the stops in welcoming you didn't they. Fried duck and beer is interesting. If you haven't tried mate de coca tea, you need to. Its a natural anti-diarretic that my peruvian professor let me try. Just make sure they hold the cocaine.
