Global Wanderers

I have traveled all my life. In fact, I was born to military parents while my parents were stationed in Laon, France. My first trip (according to my baby book my mother made for me) was to the Netherlands when I was only three months old. My parents loved to travel and they would drag me and my older sister all over the place. As a military family, we surprisingly did not move around a lot before my father retired from the U.S. Air Force. We settled in Sumter, South Carolina which is where I went to school. I followed in my father's footsteps and joined the U.S. Air Force myself. During my military career I was fortunate to be stationed in Germany for seven years. I took well advantage of my good fortune to travel around Europe every chance I got. This rekindled the travel bug that my parents so passionately instilled in me early in life. After arriving in Germany, I was placed in temporary housing with three other men that arrived in Germany the same day I did. We all became friends and all had an interest in traveling. Within a few days of our arrival we all signed up to take a three day tour to Paris, France. Within the first two weeks of arriving in Germany my new friends and I were jaunting off to Paris, France. It was fantastic had we all had a great time. From that point on, my new friends and I often traveled together around Europe over the next seven years. Well, to make a long story short and before this becomes a novel; I retired from the U.S. Air Force while stationed in Denver, Colorado and decided to stay and making Denver my home. I met my partner while living in Denver and we have traveled extensively over the last 14 years.
My travels have taken me to twenty-four counties and counting. The countries I have visited are; United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Australia, Fiji, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Laos. I consider myself a seasoned traveler.
