what an awsome blog! that reedy bed looks sublime! I bet the air up there is delicious... what sort of dreams can visit you in a place like that, huh? it already looks like you fell down the rabbit hole! I can't wait to hear all the tales and see the full array of pictures. just what you have here makes me want to jump on a plane, boat, or kelp raft and go south! I love you guys, and thanks so much for taking us all along!
Reedy, reedy cool! What an amazing place. The photos are great, especially "The End" So glad to see you guys having such a great trip. I loved your comment about being travelers, not tourists. I had never thought of it that way, but it is so obvious and the difficulty explaining this in a foreign language - lots of challenges. Have fun and take good care. All our love, Bobbie, Don and Lone
yuletide greetings... Hi guys! So nice to see what you guys are up to and that you're having fun and avoiding bird doo in Peru. :) Merry Christmas.... and a very happy, adventure-filled new year. I'm back in the U.S. where things are good but not nearly as exciting. Take good care!...
stonework wonderful, mesmerising.. remember reading a book many years ago about such ruins and how they used some leaves to rub stones smooth so perfect surface and 'contact contour'; stayed with me that. Yes, so they can withstand earthquakes.. and we thind we're civilised or clever.
enjoy, love, Dad

Las Ruinas de Quelap Heather, for someone (like me) who's always been fascinated by the early Meso-American civilizations, seeing them through your eyes is great !

where's the pix? Hi Heath,
I'm sitting in my new company's office in London reading your blog with great interest. But why can't I see the earrings? What about this new camera of yours, doesn't it upload? Your reading public demands thorough reporting!
Love, Joe
