I enjoyed your adventure, especially being on the sandy beach with boulders. Enjoyed the pictures of historic places of long ago. Look forward to seeing you this summer and hearing your plans for the future. Love you much, Gran'ma Martin
Catching up Hi George and Kevin. I'm catching up- reading about some of your latest adventures. I can almost taste the olive oil! (Greece trip) Hope to see you this summer. We missed you at the NYE party. Vickie and Walt
Adventurous Trip Hey George,
The streets sound like Almaty. We have set up our Sri Lanka trip and look forward to comparing trips. You and Kevin really move around a lot during your trips. I can only wonder what more you would have done if the weather had been more pleasant. The Fall break was wonderful. I am getting the hang of this mastery learning?
Beautiful. It looks like you are taking every chance to go to another location. That is wonderful. The pictures are beautiful and it sounds like a very interesting place. Be careful and have fun.

Thanks for the updates, George! Hi George! Miss you! Thanks for updating us on your recent trips! That's awesome that you got to so a science inquiry board presentation and enjoy so much good beer on all your travels! Can't wait to hear what the winter break holds for you two!
Stephanie
It's probably good that your are out of the country! Great succinct commentary! Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to stay in contact. Left wing of the Democratic Party is pulling a Tea Party manuaver - and rightly so! Republicans have begun giving away the family jewels to "Too Large To Fail Banks" and "Larger than LIfe" rich donors.
Great adventure ! Hi George and Kevin, I am enjoying all your entries and photos. It looks like both of you are having a wonderful time traveling and soaking up the sights, culture, local food and an occasional beverage. Keep the posts coming and say hello to Poland for me as I am sure I have many very distant relatives living there.
Take care and Happy Travels!
Welcome back Thanks for sharing your adventures although and your beer for vicarious enjoyment. I just bought an Estonian beer yesterday and it was delicious so I imagine you found the beers good too. Interesting comment about Macedonia. If I were to return to the Balkans, Albania and Macedonia would be high on my list. Climate is better and lots of beautiful forests and mountains. But unlike many of the communist controlled countries, Poland was able to preserve much of its cultural icons. I just drove back to Oregon, where the rainy season is well under way. Keep in touch. Would like to stay in touch after you return.
Hi George and Kevin, I love following you on your travels. The commentary is descriptive but not flowery and the pictures sharp. All that is missing is Flat Stanley or the gnome in the pictures. Knowing your adventurous side, George, I am not surprised that you are using the opportunities to explore to the fullest. Enjoy and thanks for sharing. Judy
Chills George and Kevin: The name Krakow just gives me chills, but I would want to go there if I were there. I was nervous and chilly reading your travel notes but glad you found "Starbucks" a little of Seattle right over there. A great adventure for you two. Love, Gran'ma
Coffee Great! You made it to Poland. Its a different world, isn't it? Getting ready to send a package to my mom. Any preferences on a special type of coffee? My sister will deliver it to you. :)
Real Coffee!! Oh, I bet that was one exquisite cup of Java after living on instant coffee! ;) Looks like Kevin was dressed well for the cold.
Listening to the news lately and thinking of you two..... Take care!
Poland George and Kevin, so happy that you are safe and out and exploring! Sounds fun, but a little stressful. Alexsandar sounds like he was a real interesting guy. Amazing the people you meet while traveling.
