Kia Ora (Hello) and welcome to Queenstown! Queenstown is without doubt the adreneline capital of the world there is so many amazing thing to do here. I didnt do them all but I did a few and they were awesome!! but more about that later first we had to get there as we left Wanaka we went to a crazy place called Puzzle World that has a massive maze with four towers. The aim is to visit the four towers and then find your way out. This was hard and took me and Jo about 20 mins to find the four towers then another 10 mins to try and find the exit, fail and exit through the escape doors. Really glad we did use the escape doors as there was much more cool stuff inside. The ... read more

Hello Everyone, after leaving Franz Joesf we headed to Wanaka which was a fairly long drive down the west coast. We stopped off at a place called Roaring Billy Falls which was a waterfall which went into a river. When we got there our driver LJ drove the Kiwi bus right down next to the river which was sourounded by lots and lots of stones. LJ said that someone must have turned the tap off for the Roaring Billy Falls as it was more like Trickling Billy Falls, because there hadnt been much rain lately. We stayed here for about an hour and had our lunch by the river as we tried to skim the stones across the river which was awesome fun!! I manged 8 skims! After this we got back on the bus and ... read more

Hello After Kaikoura we went to Nelson to drop off the people on our tour bus who were going to the North Island, Our tour driver was also going to the north island so we got a new driver called LJ (Little Jon). After making our way through Nelson we headed for Westport which was a really sleepy little town that had a few bars and its own brewery. I sampled the local beer called Miners Draught and it wasnt too bad better than some of the beer I have tried since Ive been away. After checking into our hostel we all met up and went to a beach nearby and had a bonfire and a few beers. Some people had marshmellows but I stuck to the beers and had a really funny night chatting with ... read more

Hello Everyone, we got on the Kiwi Experience bus today and werent too sure what we would be doing, but not to long into our journey we knew that we would have fun. Our bus driver was called Bods and had been driving Kiwi Experience tours for quite a few years, He was really funny and kept pointing out stuff as we drove through from Christchurch to a place called Kaikoura. While driving through Bods told everyone about Kaikoura, where we could stay, what activities we could do and general stuff about the town. Jo and I decided that it would be cool to go Dolphin Swimming so booked ourselves on that activity. When we arrived in Kaikoura we checked into our double room which was more like a shed with a double bed in it ... read more

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Christchurch, We landed in New Zealand in Christchurch not really having a clue what it would be like and from having only the warm clothes that we had in Asia we had a bit of a shock as the weather was much like England. We went into the Centre of Christchurch to see what New Zealands second biggest city had to offer and it was really cool. We went out for a few drinks our first night and found a bar called the Grumpy Mole its was decked out like a wild west saloon and offered cheap drinks and free pool so we were happy. We challanged some locals to a game of pool and ended up chatting to them for bit while we battled it out. They told us that ... read more

The Philippines is an amazing and beutifull place, I landed in Manilla on the 1st of December and it was so hot the ride from the airport was a real eye opener, on the outskirts of Manilla there were lots of shanty house's and the streets were very busy, the centre of Manilla could not look more different with high rise buildings and lots of banks and shopping centers. There are security gaurds at the entrance's to everything, as I got to my hotel the taxi had to be checked for bombs by the gaurd and I thought woah what type of place have I just flown into!! It doesnt take long to get used to it and after a few days that sort of thing seems normal. I was really excited about getting to Manilla ... read more

Hi everyone, I have been In Thailand for 2 days and already I love the place. My first night here was crazy as I didnt know what to do or where to go. It was lucky that my girlfriend Jo had recomended to stay at the Viengtai hotel just off Khao San Road, otherwise I would really have not know what to do. As the Viengtai was just round the corner from Khao San Road I started there. It was crazy walking up and down the street as there are Bars and clubs on either side, with market stalls selling everything and anything you could think of. I went In quite a few of the bars and clubs and had a wicked night, as soon as I had stepped on to the Khao San Road I ... read more
