My Last full Day in London. A sad day but also a very beautiful day to be in England. It was like the sun was smiling through the clouds every day I was there, like she was happy to see me. I was happy to travel to London. London really is a wonderful city full of beautiful people. I wouldn't mind living there either but the Financial burdon would be huge, and I would need a lot of support until I could get on my feet. That initial financial investment is really needed if you want to go anywhere though, so I think that it comes down to where you are trying to go and realistically how expensive.(So if you are reading my blog and want to contribute to my Move to London fund Hit me ... read more

Today was one of the best days I had in London, because I actually had a nice sit down conversation with some people local to London; even though none of them were English! On the consecutive hottest day in London I decided to have a stroll through Green Park. To my surprise there had to of been a thousand people in the park; all gathered to enjoy the rare English sunshine and company of their friends. But for me it was different, Because roaming alone in a foreign country you have no plans to meet up with anyone you know(because you dont know anyone!). So I felt ultimately alone walking in the park, until I noticed three girls walking behind me speaking english. I did not think much of it at the time, until I stopped ... read more

I woke up this morning to a room service Breakfast, an English omelet... it certainly was not the Denver omelet I was expecting. A British omelet consists of eggs fried up, rolled like a crape, and placed on a plate. Next to the cylindrical egg were the contents I was expecting to be cooked inside the egg, a sausage, a giant mushroom cap, a lean cut of ham, and a chunk of hash. Dont get me wrong Im not complaining about anything; I just found it interesting how the English prepared such a meal. I thought an omelet to be so Orignal to be the american style to be cooked all together. This is what this trip is all about; to experience the unknown weither its as simple as food or as complex as appreciation of ... read more

So after staying up till 4am watching the british version of Cops; I woke up a little later than I would have preferred.(2Pm) But that did not mean I was going to waste my day, My Mum and I went out on the town. We walked from the Harbour to Fulham Broadway Underground Station Caught the east bound green circle line into Westminster the Heart of London. Immediately upon exiting the underground station I got excited; As the eye of London caught my attention right away.(Eye of London is a huge Farris wheel with train car sized carriers instead of baskets) Then as I rushed up the stairs I knew what was right around the corner, Big Ben! It nearly took my breath away because it was even more Beautiful than I had expected. A magnificent ... read more

So I decided to venture out into London on my own this day. Which the weather was quite nice for it too! As i was wondering through Chelsea streets i came across the London Underground Metro; which there is the Over ground, Underground, circle line, district line and National rail. All of these rails lead every where you need to go in London, which was perfect for me. I figured out that I could make it to every place I fancied; just on a Day pass for 8.50 pounds which is a hell of a deal. It sure beats walking or taking a taxi around London. So when we first arrived the cabbie from the airport to the Hotel recommended that we see Covent Garden because it was full of a bunch of thing we should ... read more

Chelsea Harbour... My first thoughts was Holy Hell the drive from Heathrow was kinda scary, these English drivers are insane. we took an "Iconic Black cab" as they call them in the London Taxi service to Chelsea Harbour. I could not get used to the driving on the left side of the road (Being that the only place outside of the states I have been to was Mexico which they drive on the "Right" side) I knew that they drive on the left side before I came over; But I did not comprehend how under qualified I would be to drive in the UK. I have my motorcycle endorsement in the States but I sure as hell would die if i tried to ride the motorways here in the UK. The drivers here in the UK ... read more

Well this trip is still in its Infant days, but we are about to learn how to Walk; by making the crossing of the Atlantic ocean. London, UK is the first stop in my journey. It will be the furthest I have ever been away from the City of trees(Boise). Im not quite sure how I feel about that yet. Im a man on a mission to find myself and break down the walls that society and Myself have put up. When we flew out of Boise (a flight I have made many times) I could not help but feel different as I watched things I know fade away as the plane made its major turn in direction to the East. I recognized West Jr High, Southeast Boise, Vista ave, and even my own Neighborhood! I ... read more
