Labeling photos
This is a great blog and I love the details you include about the city. Can you go back and label some more of the animal photos? Some are obvious, like the zebra and giraffe, but others are less clear. I'd love to read more about each picture. Thanks!

updated!
I added the labels, and added a little bit to the text. I found it really hard to maintain my blog while in Kenya. How do you do it? I have Moments where being back in the USA something will trigger a memory, and it will bring my mind back in such detail that it literally almost makes me cry, to think about how much I miss Kenya. Im going to ReBlog these memories when they occur. I mean when I was living in Kenya, there was never a dull moment but never blogged them..

Understanding through harsh realities
Thank you for writing about this, Lucas. When I was in Madrid I chose to tour the bull fighting arena on a day there was no fight because I didn't want to see the gore and violence. However, living in Bangladesh has taught me that shying away from hard realities doesn't make them go away, but it does make them harder to understand. Whether or not Madrid follows Barcelona in banning bull fights, you saw a dying tradition. I am sure this experience will give you a deeper understanding of Spanish culture, and ultimately of humanity.

It hit me when the last Matador got the perfect kill and I could see the Blood pouring out of his mouth like it was on Tap. This Is as Human as it gets, we Gather to watch Suffering of another Life form. then we drag its corpse through the Arena, and cheer for the man who Slay the beast. I dont understand a lot of things about this Tradition, but this has made an Impact i will never forget. I hope my words and photos did this age old Tradition justice, and made it so maybe you wouldn't have to see it in real life; cause you felt like you were there. My Africa Blogs will be up in a couple days so stay in Touch!

Haha way to stay positive and soak in the experience of a life time. It is such a blessing for you to to travel and have the ability to see other cultures, architectures, lifestyles, music jeezz just all of it. I am living thru you right now. I can remember how much different just the smells were in Europe. And ahhh those pastries.. The funny part is Lucas all I could think of in reading this was, I wonder after all that effort if you wished you ordered two cheesecakes :) I know how much you loved to raid my pantry. Love ya - keeping my prayers headed your way. Proud of you and wished I had sad bye before ya left. Enjoy and I love the fact you are keeping this going. miss Sharon

Traveling Solo
You have already found the reason I love to travel alone! I enjoy traveling with friends, but when I'm with somebody, I spend most of my time talking to them. Traveling alone opens you up to meeting all sorts of amazing people. Lucas, I'm happy to see that you're open to talking to strangers. You will meet so many wonderful people on your travels!

Leaving Home
I still cry when I leave Boise, despite how many times I've left to go live abroad. Having a good home you know you can always go back to makes travel easier. London, Spain and Kenya will be amazing, and Boise will always be there when you want to go back. Bon voyage!

Boise is where my Heart is...
Miss Jasper, you have always been my idol for when it comes to stepping outside the box; and Pursuing what my heart desires. I remember when I first met you, 7th grade taking the "Wheel" intro to french and Spanish. Your stories of abroad, and the passion you could feel through your voice of experience. Was very motivating to want put my self out into the world to find myself; much like you had done personally. even at such a young age I was eager to achieve such goals, and I'm happy to say that I'am now living out that dream to venture abroad. You are the best and hope to hear more feedback from you as you follow along with my blog. ~Lucas
