A Sweet Town How lovely to visit the little town during the dance festival and enjoy its sweets and typical dishes! I love small towns where people still ride horses and enjoy a slower pace of life. A fun family adventure!
A Sweet Town Yeah, so peaceful and empty of so much city stress. Glad you liked it, I guess once in a while, you find yourself visiting similar ones in Peru, each one is unique. Hugs
Felicitaciones! Su madre es muy linda. Lo siento, pero mi espanol es terrible. I traveled to Colombia in 2011 and loved it. I only got to visit Bogota and Cartegena. I write under the blog name 'gunga'. There are several blogs about my visit to Colombia. I hope to visit again. It is amazing that you wrote and finished a novel. That is a BIG achievement. I hope it is a success. I will look forward to the English translation. I love the old photos. Carolyn Taylor ( gunga)
Felicitaciones! Querida Carolyn, gracias. Su español es muy bueno, con un poquito de salsa, lo mejoras ;) I am so glad that you have visited my country, I´ll find your blogs in a moment. Yeah, let´s hope so, that´s one of the things that I have to thank Travelblog: it kept me writing and later, I got inspired to write a novel, it might happen to you too. I loved your comment.
Making cheese in Sardinata! Well, I was curious about the process of making cheese in Sardinatas... I went through the 21 pages and I still do not know how it is made... there were some pictures on the last pages...21 maybe but there was not information... Could you share it? Thanks!
Making cheese in Sardinata! Dear Martha, Well, there may be many diferent ways but his was quite simple and fast. He froze the milk and then added some kind of lactic acid bacteria and he obtained what we call cuajada. He then put it on the cooker, adding water and salt and started stirring it and then, he put it in a container, which he left to rest for about an hour and that was it. Thanks for your comment, try it and invite me over ☺
Good luck! What a great idea to share the lives of your Colombian companeros with the world. Best wishes with your book--I know that writing and rewriting is a lot of work-- and I love these old photos!
More Columbia I always love to explore churches when we are traveling. So much can be revealed of the local customs and culture. The architecture is beautiful.

Hi all!
Well, after so many seconds, minutes, hours, months and years of procrastination...-but highly encouraged by a most beloved friend-, I have finally got round to creating my own blog. Wow, I can't believe I'm actually doing it this time! It will be a nice opportunity to get in touch with so many friends that I've luckily gained in my entire '21' years' existence (we all know that's a lie but somehow it makes me feel younger, never you mind, sorry:); I'll be able to share some of the most precious memories of my travel as well as my day-to-day adventures.
