Traveling is an expression of one's self. I find freedom and fulfillment when exploring a new place. There's always a thrill of anticipation, adventure and new knowledge. It's amazing to find your self growing with passion and certainty.
Once you found your self, there's no stopping! Enjoy!

Part II I can't recall how Sydney Kingsford Smith International airport arrival hall looks like from the inside, I can only remember the waves of the ocean at the nearby bay before the plane landed, exiting the immigration gantry and queueing up to get a sim. It was a Wednesday morning, around 10am, Sydney time, and there were 50 over people waiting to get their sim. I saw someone purchasing 3 sim card as he had 2 phones and an iPad. I'd really love to interrupt and suggest to just use tethering so he does not have to take more time in purchasing multiple sim, and save money as well. Among the tourist, who can use 2GB in a single day? Certainly not me as I'd be spending time wandering around appreciating the view and ingest ... read more

Part I I am, more or less, two hours away from my destination and I feel tired, I can't get some sleep, maybe I'm just not used to a long travel. My usual flight takes 2 to 3.5 hours as all were in Asia. I don't know what to expect when I arrived but I'm really excited for tomorrow's event. Wondering if there might be some familiar faces around to mingle with but hope to make new acquaintances too. Yesterday I woke up early to finalize my itinerary and I'll try to adhere to it as much as possible, unless something comes up. I have checked the weather as well for the coming week, it would be windy and a bit of showers on the first 2 days; and temperature ranges from 9 to 17 degrees ... read more

If you have not read my previous blog "Dear Thailand, When I said I'll Be Back, I Meant It. and I'm Bringing More.", here is a short intro. My first trip in March 2015 inspired me to list things I would do this year as well as help me find my passion: Traveling and Inspiring others. Here's the list of things I would do in 2015: • Travel more. • Start a legacy. Be more than "Luisa". • Laugh more. Read more. • Invest for future. • Learn how to swim Travel more was the first topic I dwelled on. I talked about my second trip in Thailand, in May 2015. The trip didn't fail me, I managed to see and experience more wonders of the beautiful kingdom. This time, it's about the second on my ... read more

I have to see more! This is what I told myself before I leave Bangkok (my first blog) in March. After that trip, I listed things I would do this year: Travel more. Start a legacy. Be more than "Luisa". Laugh more. Read more. Invest for future. Learn how to swim You read the last one right. Yes, I can't swim. For my 30 years of my existence I can only stay at Kiddie pool. Haha. TRAVEL MORE First, what are the things to consider. Below are my list: Budget - You can see me spending hours browsing through different website fishing for a good deal of flight. Location (Beach vs Scenery) - I am a sentimental person, I go for scenery. Probably because I can't swim. Let see if this preference change once I'm good ... read more

Poignant days come by. You feel down, stuck and suffocated. Fresh air could be something surreal at this moment - a companion / confidant. A step off your bed is a mile worth of energy (E=mc2). And so you lay, your soul travels the depth of unknown solemnity. Next thing you knew you are reaching for your phone and browsing familiar names. This was how my day started. I have not visited this state for a while now and I know it's not productive. I dragged my self and grabbed my pen and started writing my daily desire list. It's my daily journal where I write what I wanted my subconscious mind to pick up, it's like reprogramming yourself and mindset. One of my favourite is the phrase "Now is the right time", I have written ... read more

Believe it or not, I've never been to Universal Studios in Singapore despite residing here for over 5 years now. Well, first excuse I made through the years is "I'm busy". Second excuse, "I can just go next year". Third, "USS is just around the corner". The vicious cycle continuous. So that is my excuse I'm not able to talk about Universal Studios in Singapore in my blog now. The place I would like to write about is an island situated in the north east of Singapore. The Pulau Ubin, The Island is a flashback of time from modern Singapore civilisation. If you're a nature lover and adventure seeker, you'd embrace this place. It's a 10 to 15-minute bumboat ride from Changi Ferry Terminal, which cost SGD5 per pax. A minimum of 6 pax per boat ... read more

My love for travel started when I went to Bangkok in March 2015 to attend an expo, BIFF and BIL(Bangkok Internation Fashion Fair and Bangkok International Leather Fair. It is an annual event in Bangkok where buyers, manufacturers and suppliers come to boost their business or to establish connections for future expansions. Some attendees are startups, like me, who wanted to find better options or other opportunites. Me and a friend wanted to start a business on bags so it interests me to attend. It was supposed to be a solo flight but on the day before my flight I was chatting with a friend and mentioned about my trip. Out of nowhere I asked her if she wanted to come along so I won't be alone. Told her I've already booked the hotel so she ... read more
