We can't wait to see you both and all the photos when you get home. Enjoy catching up with your friends in the US and hope the leg room on that route is slightly better (I hope I've planned it right anyway!!!) Only 7 weeks to go and we'll be off so definitely want to steal some ideas for what to do in Northland!!! Take care, speak soon Jo and Ross xx

Fantastic
Hey honnies - it all looks so fantastic! Yes - that downward slope with all the shale was a nightmare. That was where Kev went A over T trying to show me how to do it fast instead of hobbling down like a retard! But at least I still had skin on my shins! There can't be that much left to see now. I think you will be able to say -'We have DONE New Zealand' by the time you get home! Can't wait for the next blog. Love - Cheryl xxxxx

Errol Flynn
No way - I went on Errol Flynn's yacht when I was in Taupo! They were all a similar price so it was the Errol Flynn factor which clinched it for us. Looks like you're having a great time. Are you sure Phil wasn't responsible for some of the eggy smells in Rotorua?

boysenberry wine
hi both. Glad you made it to Picton, it's mad how they just close roads (especially as there's probably no other route through!!!) we really liked wellington too. Shame about the wine, look out for boysenberry wine, it is a deep red colour and it will definitely give you the belly warm you were after. it is ross's favourite. it is definitely made in taranaki, not sure if it is made/sold elsewhere. I would liken it to a port - not the flavour, but the rich warmness and don't need a large amount of it - but I don't try telling ross that as he disagrees (unless we're in england with only one bottle of it and then he savours every last drop!!!) keep the updates coming, glad you're still having great time love jo and ross x

Tattoo
Phil that is one awesome tattoo. D wants one quite badly now but I think it is a bit far for him to travel especially for that. Maybe one day. Keep the posts coming when you need a break from all the activities. Jealous of all the animal bits myself.

Hey there
Good to see a blog up and running - I'll watch the Facebook vids from home tonight. Wish we were out there with you - all you are missing back here is a grey September morning. Make the most of your trip - I have a feeling you will like NZ. Phil - try a Waikato draught beer when you get up to the North Island purely for comedy value - it's possibly the worst beer I have ever tasted. Stick to the Mac's Gold. Joff

Ponte lives on
Our Ponte night out till continues - well almost. Oliver had his first experience of Xscape night life and went in 3 bars. Although we did leave at about 8 when the clientelle changed somewhat!!! So on the Ponte night out was me, Ian and new recruit Oliver, Rich, Chris B and Paul and Sarah Hartley - so although it was more of an afternoon out than an evening it was still good! Your Xmas eve pics look fab! Hope it's snowing again for you. 10km sledge run sounds fab!!!!!! Right off to another Christmas buffet do! Speak soon Rach x
