You Lucky Ducks!
Hey Samantha, I LOVE your blog!!! What a great way to remember and share your trip with all your family and friends! I'm so jealous you went to Disneyland - TWO times!!! I am hoping to go to the Disneyland in Hong Kong at the end of July - maybe I should write a blog like you so I can share my experience with everyone too! It sounds like you are having a lot of fun travelling with your mum and dad around Europe. Are you enjoying the food in Paris? I remember eating a lot of pastries everyday! :-D xoxox Ashleigh

Hi
Hi Ashleigh, it's so lovely to hear from you, we are glad you are enjoying the blogs. We are having a great time and seeing heaps although poor Samantha is having trouble coping with anyone that looks the slightest bit odd or "not normal". We have been eating far to many pastries (Samantha enjoying the chocolate crepes). You must do a blog when you are away, we would love to hear from you! Bye for now & keep in touch. ...if this comes thru twice I'm sorry I think I hit the delete instead of send the first time! Melissa xxx

Storm
Hi Samantha, Everything is pretty much as normal after the storm in Waikanae. The river is flowing fast and a few branches have come off the trees but Wellington got the battering. There was one person who was driving 50km/hr down the Wellington Esplanade and they got over taken by a WHEELIBIN!!!! funny!!!! It's so funny that you have found something that reminds you of home. We will be sure to let 'Basil' know his brother 'Henry' is well. ha ha ha ha We are having a competition to see how you will be getting to France. Boat/Hovercraft etc = 2 people Train = 14 people Car/Automobile = 4 people Plane = 4 people Look forward to reading your next installment.... Room 10 x

Travel to France
Hello Everyone! We travelled to France on the Eurostar which is a train that goes under the English Channel. Here are some interesting facts. The record speed for the Eurostar is 334km/hr. the length of each tunnel is 50 km which takes the train 20mins to go thru, (there are 2 train tunnels and 1 service tunnel incase the train breaks down) it was so quiet we didn't notice going thru!

Hello!
Hi and thanks :-) Have been thinking about everybody at home and the storm; hope you and your mum are all good, mum and dad had a fence panel go thru the neighbours dining room window! Samantha and I have spent the afternoon shopping; left Ricky at the hotel and got back at 8pm! Feel much better now, and we didn't even need to stop or a coffee break! Off to the monkey Forrest tomorrow, taking along Ricky to see his distant (or not so distant relatives!) Bye for now & take care. Melissa xx

Hi
Hi and lovely to hear from you! Had been thinking about you over the last couple of days :-) has your mum moved yet? I couldn't remember when it was. How is the storm, I must have a look at the NZ news, you don't hear anything about NZ here. We are actually sweltering in our apartment here in London, does not have air con and is about 26 degree all night which isn't that pleasant especially after we were spoilt on the cruise. Anyway hope the storm has not done too much damage, pass my thoughts on to everyone. Take care. Melissa x

Cute
Hi! The squirrels were really cute, and Samantha was feeding them until we saw the sign saying not too! They obviously get feed lots as they are not really frightened of people. How are things going over there? Are you busy? Hope Steve managed to make it to the market on Saturday, saw some street market stalls here in London (flowers) and took a couple of pictures. Lots of lilies and roses. Bye for now. Melissa x
