It looks like you are having a great time. I am very excited for you getting a job at mammoth, but I am also VERY sad.....now we will never see you....6 hrs was hard enough....20 hrs (?) is bad....

I'm glad you made it out okay. You're right the trees are amazing. Now we know what the Mountain Yellow Legged Frog looks like. That's cool that you found an albino tadpole. The helicopter ride sounds like fun.

As you wait there for snow, so do I. It has been a long fall here in Bishop and the mountains are needing snow. Mammoth Mtn has opened only with a few runs? I'm not motivated to go yet, need powder. Sooo, I'll continue to escalar las montanas. Adios

Thanks for the updates Phil, I'm ready to hit the road again. Oh wait, I must work first, need money...I start my new job on Halloween, scary. Enjoy the countries and surf some more waves for me (Maybe the spelling is different in Spain but I thought waves were olas?). It has now been over a year since I had to use what little spanish I know. Adios mi amigo, jefe'

Thanks for sharing in the adventures!!! Keep surfing...check out the peguins on your way south through Chile. Enjoy the time away... take advantage of your trip...you've invested a lot to experience South America. Make sure to visit Pucon and search out the hot springs. Rent bikes to get around...keep summiting those foreign peaks. Go around the tip and on to Argentina and figure it all out for us. Bien Viaje...escuch a Pachamama Jefe'
