I’m often asked "How did you get started with this crazy adventure?” Well, my boyfriend, Mike and I have always talked about traveling. We loved to take vacations but we knew we wanted to be able to explore on our time and stay as long we wanted. We started watching videos four years ago to find out what method of travel would be right for us, then we put a plan in motion. Once Mike's son graduated from high school and started college, we knew it was time to make our plan a reality. We both started applying for jobs around the country and traveling jobs. I quit my regular job and started doing contract property management and writing so I could be flexible. Mike was able to secure a position with 100% travel and the ability to work remote. We sold everything, traded the car for an SUV and we were on our way to achieving our dream.
