The Iron Curtain is mentioned by Winston Churchill who was a prime minister of England to describe closing of the Soviet Union. These days, this boundary became the longest tourist route in the world. Member nations of EU are looking for the route to be a symbol of reunification of Europe, to promote identification of Europe, and to preserve the memories of Europe which had been divided Europe into two. The route makes Europe understand history, culture and politics of Europe. Economically, it’s good for their tourist industry, and culturally, Europe will be unified. So it is very meaningful for Europe today. I would like to visit Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary to learn the Iron Curtain.
