hey guys. No I have not forgotten about you. It's just that everything is becoming a ritual and nothing is actually new anymore to me. I'm starting to get use to being in this country. But having said that everything here still amazes me. So yesterday I took a walk around town. And when I thought I had seen all of it I ended up finding myself completely not knowing where I was. I hadn't been there before and everything was different. Which is nice because I actaully am not sick of the environment I'm in yet. Yesterday afternoon Clara and [View Full Entry]

So the title gives it all. I was in the German local paper yesterday with Javier finally. The interview took place twei wochs ago and well the man had told us it would be in the the next day but it wasn't. So Gestern Morgen when the secretary at the schule told me I saw you in the newspaper this morning it almost came as a surprise for me. I can kindo of read what is written I got a copy of it here but the artical mostly speaks about Javier since for one reason he speaks more then me and [View Full Entry]

My day's been busy this morning I got up, it was so cold in my room. I cannot say the weather is really warm because it isn't and this week some mornings when I walked to school, I could actually see my breathe. My host father keeps trying to convince me that the weather is good and for the most part warm. But I don't believe him. Tonight night I made him realise that since I've been here there as been about 5 nice days which I can actually say where warm and sunny all day with no rain. But on [View Full Entry]

Hey everyone. Let me start off by telling my little morning rush. So this morning I had put my alarm clock on at 6 like usual but I only started school at 9:40 so I figured I could sleep in a little longer which didn't really happen. When my alarm rang I was half a sleep it was still dark out so I didn't see well so I figured instead so putting snooze I would just change the alarm to the time I wanted it to ring at, so I thinking I had done so fell back asleep only to wake [View Full Entry]

Today guess what I did? A cultural excursion at an outside museum like the titile says. It was really nice. This museum is an outside village representing different jobs that were practised years ago. Like way back when.... Canada was just being discovered... Well not quite, their where representations of different jobs mostly in the 1800's-1700's. There houses where really cool I expected it to be like the villeage dans temps ou Upper Canada Villeage with houses and blacksmiths and farming and so on, but it really was focused only on the different jobs back then. I had a problem understanding [View Full Entry]

Long day  Europe » Germany » North Rhine-Westphalia
some days are just better then others today wasnt the best. My morning consisted of 2 different German classes which both are doing the same thing. One teacher told me it would be better for me to attend class with the 5th class since it would be better for me to learn. And I do agree so we will see how it goes throughout Geography class I turned the pages in the text book and well after that I went to two different art classes my own and another during a free period. Tonight was German class. I'm so lost they [View Full Entry]

Today was another normal school day in Germany. It was my first complete school day entirely alone without anyone really telling me where to go. I like my new classes now the people really seem different. I think I will actually be able to find friends easier. Today I had philosophy first class I couldn't really fallow what was going on. But I had some girl beside me telling by passing notes. She seems really nice. I like the teacher he sounds interesting maybe if I'd understand it would be different but I don't. After was sociology with the grade [View Full Entry]

The Inbounds Europe » Germany » North Rhine-Westphalia » Bonn
Yesterday my Rotary counselor came to get me early in the morning to go for our Inboud meeting in Königswinter with all the inbounds of our district. The inbounds are the exchange students from Rotary which are in the host country. I didn't even get a chance to have breakfeast since I was waithing for it to be ready my host mom had prepared bread and other stuff but I didn't get the chance to eat and I had to go. We then both went to get the other exchange student in my town and met up with two more and [View Full Entry]

Saturday was really awesome. I'm starting to think Germans have really crazy sports, but I guess we have them back home too it's just that I never really paided attention or attended any of them. So I found myself somewhere in the middle of the Bergisches forest with Clara my host sister and her ski trainer attending skisha (I'm not sure of the name) but the point is everyone was skiing down a hill in august on the glass. I found it different. Usually skiing is done on snow well from the part of the world I come from but apparently [View Full Entry]
