cheering Hi journalist emma, have cheered up after reading your email< was feeling low about cold weather here, but your email was so intriguing to read i forgot about the weather here! thank you for taking time to write all that awe inspiring stuff. have fun, love Aunty Cass xx
I am exhausted just reading it! Emma you make me feel very humble, what a brilliant offering you have made. How can we maon about what colour clothes to wear, or what not to eat out of our huge store of food. I am very proud of you. Keep well and strong> love aunty Cass xx
wow! Little monkey, I am so proud of you. The travel spirit is well and truelly in you.
What an adventure, and it just shows everyone else, to not take everything so seriously when there are so many different things to be serious about.
Keep on going babe, you will keep this with you forever, and what a honer to make a difference in some one else's live. You inspire me.
love always pasc.
FANASTIC! Hey Emma, Fantastic job you are doing there. Must be difficult being on your own, but I think the unusual situation will give you an even better experience in the end.
I remember hearing something along the lines of "you have to immerse yourself into another people's lives to fully appreciate your own".
Enjoy it Emma, these opportunities don't come along very often in life.
Lots of love from Dubai xx L + P
Well done Em.
Your site looks great and the trip sounds cool. Well done. Here's my traveling mantra after thirty five years on the road, for what it's worth... 'You're a traveller once you realise that the further you go the less you know'
All going brill here and looking very exciting. Will set up my blog slowly slowly but need to thoroughly understand what I'm up to, but have a great lovely guy whose already completely revamped my laptop, so playing with that at the moment. Also now Skyped up and today had my first conversation which was with Le Frog and Christine. So loads going on what with settling in, findind a home and vehicle. All go.
Love yer.

A whirl week in Nepal dearest emma, how have you got the energy to write all that after a week like that! It sounds absolutely out of thsi world. Brilliant descriptions, I feel like I have been watching a film. How will you get back to normal? Mind you ,you are definately not normal if you like jumping into canyons!
fondest love Aunty Cass xx

Wicked!! Your blogs get better and better!! I'm torn between your blogs, "O"'s emails from Venezuela, and my latest book - Shantaram which "O" recommended and I believe you have read it too. You must by now be in India, so I'm looking forward to your next batch of news, especially as I am now in India-mode with my book! If you think you have rain you want to be in the UK at the moment - it's awesome (?????) and wet, very, very wet.................
Take care and watch what you eat! love Pennyxx
who is driving Lovely to read the latest, so glad you can be bothered to tell us so much, especially for us that have never been to Australia.
will get there one day but our gap year will be between retiring and dementia!
Isn't it amazing? Hey you, how are you? Looks like you’re still having an awesome time. So glad you got to Fraser Island, it’s beautiful and one of my favourite places over there. Your photos are amazing, familiar sights as well. Did you get to go up on the little plane? The views from the sky are breathtaking! Got my grade back and passed. So relieved! YEAY! Staying at yours and working in a pub down the road keeps me out of trouble! Hehe. Graduating in July and then will probably see you back home for the summer. When are you going to India? Can’t believe you’ve got another country and whole different culture left! Awesome! I look forward to your blog and photos. Miss you, take care xxx
Looks good! Hi Both, Looks a deeply cool trip there. Brings back happy memories of my old bay window veedub (noisy old rattletrap actually, and not suitable for UK climate, but fun when sun shining! I'm looking forward to being a grey nomad!
Holly, I'm not sure whether I sent you the link to Emily's summer ball dress, so here it is, with some other pix of this year's sibs' reunion and a mov of same. Actually Tony was ill on the Monday night, so after only one day, I drove him home to Cornwall in case he got worse. But actually all was well and looked like it was a side-effect of some meds he'd taken. Phew! Bonus point though was returning to Devon by train 'cos it runs by the sea for much of South Devon and is a hugely beautiful run!
Much the same otherwise, working away with phototrips here and there. Farm office really good and it's just so great to see so many animals ducklings, guinea fowl, ponies, dogs, cats etc etc etc! I hadn't realised how much I have missed them, though of course these are ideal 'pets' stroke 'em, nuzzle 'em, but someone else does the hard work!

I CAN'T BELIEVE! I can't believe this "experience" you are on!!! It gets better and better!! I LOVED your photos - I want to paint all these views - I am soooooooooo envious. I loved Wella Bella - reminds me of my younger days - enough said! I think you should look for a job in journalism - you write so well and interestingly - I think the Telegraph is looking for a Travel Correspondent or maybe Gordon Brown wants a Minister for Travel! We are hoping to see Owain next week for his birthday and are really excited about that - can't believe he wants to spend his birthday with his doddery parents - might be a funding mission! Did you know Sian and Jason are no longer together? Still in business at the clinic, but not as a couple - it's all been a bit hairy!! Did you know Huw and Sam have started at the hotel and are having a ball! Very busy and lots of repeat business which is great . We have just returned from the South of France and spent our days doing crosswords and sudoku as it kept raining. I did manage to get the odd hour or two of suntan in though. Keep up the excellent blog, keep up the enjoyment and keep safe!! lots of love Penny (Rees) xx
If there was an award for 'making the most out of travelling'... You guys would win hands down. All the experiences look tremendous.
Enjoy Oz. I'll keep the text messages coming. Can't wait to see you when you get back. Take care xx
I want to go! HAHA! I was falling asleep to David Att a couple of days ago and he was talking about Stewart Island - made me want to go... and you've been... how cool!! Your travels seem to just get better and better... YEAY! Campervanning is Oz sounds awesome. Make sure you have good music for the long drives... hehe. MISS YOU. Take care, stay safe, xxx.
wow again Emma and Hols, you guys are continuing to amaze me, I so wish when I was younger I had done a trip like this. I have seen much of the world but you guys are doing it in style! The NZ pictures so remind me of Norway, the mountains and Fjiords are so similar, if you go north Hemisphere you should try and see N/WAY too.
keep it up Girls, fantastic.

I'm having such an amazing time here, I'm just so lucky to be able to do this. Save the pension and come travelling!!! Say hit to Martin for me.
