Is that just Marc doing superman impressions at Kings Cross? It's all a big Photoshop operation this blog isn't it? Go on, admit it - you're hiding out in the back streets of Redhill pretending to go on this big trip occasionally pasting your face over the top of some Chinese scenery off of Google images!
Seriously though - good effort keeping the blog going!
Thanks for the photos! Always good to see awildlife photo, especially one I will probably never take myself - much appreciated. Keep up the good work, we're all loving your stories!
Living Vicariously through You :) Okay, so Steve and I are avid readers of your installments and I am always disappointed when there is nothing waiting for me in my inbox. It is so fun to read about what you are up to and to see the pictures too. (Not sure the picture of the "traditional breakfast" looks as tasty as the caramel grapes though!)
Good travels - and keep up those entries!!!! Love ya, Tina
Ama-zing Hi there from a hot and sticky Redhill. Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time and making the effort to keep posting your fascinating and informative updates. It's such a brilliant way of sharing your experience as it happens. Have you ever considered writing prefessionally?
Hope you continue to enjoy it as much as it sound and that Marc doesn't lose any more bodily parts en-route. Looking foward to the next exciting instalment. Love to you both. Take care. Pies
Monkey? Can you believe it? I've just read the original stories of Tripitaka and Monkey.....well reading it, but not quite got to the end and you guys go and tell me what happened! hahaha Me wonders what to read next and how your going to fit into it? :-) Fi says hi btw

Unreal banana peel! yippeee..congratulations! Sorry I have not got back to your previous email. I am all consumed in motherhood anf babyworld.
We can't wait to see you and Marc in Oz. I s'pose I should get organised so that me and Barry get married while you're here. Although I will be starting my teaching career at that time too so it could all be a bit hectic. The whole wedding thing seems insignificant after having a baby. Speaking of which, Jasper is 11 months old this week. I can't believe a whole year has nearly gone by. Lets speak soon on the phone. My love to you both.
bye for now
lots of love and big kisses to you all

Having thoroughly enjoyed being at home in England for the past two and a bit years, we are now heading off again. This time we are starting in Morocco (November 2010) and travelling with Oasis Overland, down to Cape Town. This leg should take about 5 months, after which we will be travelling independently and might visit parts of the East Coast and then carry on to Asia for a year or so. We will simply see where we fancy going at the time.
We hope that you enjoy the blog, as and when it gets updated.
Lots of Love, Emma & Marc XXX (Carpe Diem)
