| 1st August 2007 Anne | Blenheim and Champagne - From: On to the Land of the Long White Cloud Wonderful evening had by many much riding uniformed upon horses, land of hope and glory with the inevitav ble champagne. Beck Ele Helen Ed Gary Ross Wynne Yvonne and I plus some others donned sensible foot ware and in true english syle went out to party. You were both sorely missed as you may have gathered from the attempts and sending photographs of fireworks for mark and my yelling "slightly squiffed done the phone. Many request of where are they when are they moving on to the next place and a riot of questions I could not answer. Thye blogg looks great Marc has a real knack for these sensational communications. As you can see I am now up and running, the story of how this has occurred would make a screen play. Well chillen must get on love and light Annie |

| 15th February 2007 Rich Newman | Trials and tribulations - From: From Bangkok to Iloilo Come on you now you love it. I'd give anything to have another exciting day like that. All the times you've been on a beautiful beach or relaxed drinking beer in a lovely bar, you'll forget those moments but always remember the time when getting to Iloilo almost didn't happen. Well I guess it kind of didn't, but it did in the end...you know what I mean. Also the Indian Embassy is a mere sign of things to come. Prepare your badselves for the baffling madness that is Indian Bureaucracy . :) Seriously though, it's great to hear you guys are still having a good time. You know there is no cure for this addiction don't you, I've been back home for only 6 months and already have been to Hungary and Canada, and I'm going back to Montreal in a few weeks...but where for the summer? Fancy meeting back at Everest? Only this time on the Nepali side? :) All the best, Rich |

After returning home I can now safely say that I am in a position to give you some advice. Don't come back. England is shite, travelling is the best and well, don't come back. My brain has been left with a perminent beautiful scar that still after a month of being back is making setling down difficult. It was great to meet you guys. In someways I could say you where almost instrumental in my decision to return home and start Uni, and despite my negative remarks, I am glad to be studying and changing my direction. Thank you. | 25th September 2006 Paul.M | Fowl Grow Packs - From: The Return of the Dali (the long awaited sequel) You see the holes down the middle of the pack? Maybe you didn't realise, but this is where tomato seeds have already been placed. The packs you pictured were probably only recently seeded. The tomatoes grow on the waste from the chickens and then sprout through the holes. Its a sort of symbiotic living food pack - Asian chicken and tomato on the go; very clever, completely organic. Hey, if you 2 go off the beaten track and get to Philippines, have got some wonderful S.East Asian delicacies for you to try. |
| 22nd September 2006 Beej | - From: The Return of the Dali (the long awaited sequel) Do you think they have tomatos stashed away in tomato houses if grow bags are full of chickens. xxx |

| 28th August 2006 chris & chrissy | Glad you made it! - From: An Inauspicious Start in Lhasa Good to hear you got to EBC, yep, I would agree with Marc about the pooh to the foot, really gross! Like you guys, we came back with loads of photos, enough to bore our friends for hours! After we parted, (sorry for being late back to Sim's guesthouse to wave you off), we went on to Xian, Pingyao, Datong and then Beijing, Shanghai, HK and now we are safely back in KL. We had a great time being entertained by old school friends in Beijing, Shanghai and HK, doing lots of shopping, eating decent food (finally!), even jazz bar and wine bars!! But all in all, we feel the 6 days jeep journey to Lhasa & a further 5 days journey to EBC are by far the most incredible. And we had a great time with you guys and Anna in Chengdu...if you ever decide to drop into KL, just email us! Accommodation free, of course!...but it'll be 5 yuan for photos with the natives! |
| 27th August 2006 Anne | Wow - From: An Inauspicious Start in Lhasa Those mountains - your pictures are fantastic - the sense of space and awe leaves me breathless. |

Seriously though - good effort keeping the blog going! |
