After meeting you in bangkok i went down to Kata beach in Phukett to sample the most wonderful beach environment possible with such friendly people for 6 days and then went to chang mai for 4 days with a two day really tough trek whicj included elephant riding and bamboo log rafting down rapids etc. With another two young french couples and we all got on really well. What a great adventure and perhaps next time will also go to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam with my love.

Mmm, cookies I'm definitely up for cookies for dessert, and can't wait to try out some of the other cards too - thanks for thinking of me. Not so impressed with the lack of blogs - we in grey and miserable UK need your adventures to give our lives some colour!!

!!! Hello out there. Remember me...from Everest, you know you do. It's great to see that you are still enjoying it. After returning home I can now safely say that I am in a position to give you some advice. Don't come back. England is shite, travelling is the best and well, don't come back. My brain has been left with a perminent beautiful scar that still after a month of being back is making setling down difficult.
It was great to meet you guys. In someways I could say you where almost instrumental in my decision to return home and start Uni, and despite my negative remarks, I am glad to be studying and changing my direction. Thank you. Stay in touch. Rich
Its only one small bit I need moved There at last someone who can upstage me on the moving front at least I have never done it on a bicycle. Although I do concede that some of the items we have "moved" have been as "small" as that. Great blogs there is an itinerant travel writer waiting to bloom in these
amazing pages you both send.
Lots of love all well at home Love and Hugs
Good to Hear and See From You Good to hear that you are both OK - Work is so stressful at the moment that I have been turning to your blog entries as a way to get away - far far away, from it all for the time it tkes me to read your entry - I would highly recommend it as a stress buster.
I might need my glasses' checked but I Could See Trees !!
Keep Well, Happy and Safe

Fowl Grow Packs You see the holes down the middle of the pack? Maybe you didn't realise, but this is where tomato seeds have already been placed. The packs you pictured were probably only recently seeded. The tomatoes grow on the waste from the chickens and then sprout through the holes. Its a sort of symbiotic living food pack - Asian chicken and tomato on the go; very clever, completely organic. Hey, if you 2 go off the beaten track and get to Philippines, have got some wonderful S.East Asian delicacies for you to try.
i hope marc is feeling better. drink lots of warm or hot fluids and get in some salt and some sugars. it's a nasty drink but it helps. hot water with salt and honey. take good care and enjoy your travels. thanks so much for sharing your experience. ~Anna

Your blog is superb Hi, I am really enjoying your blog and I am also envious of your wonderful trip. I have been to some of the places that you visit and I share your interests and humourous attitude to traveling in China. I hope to see Tibet in Spring and certainly it is very good to get your first hand impressions for planning that trip. Enjoy Yunnan!
Fantastic Tibet From our limited view of the world in Sydney your trip is truly amazing. This last blog is so very absorbing and detailed we love it. The decision to include Everest base camp is brilliant. I've totally forgotten how to travel and your trip reads as intrepid and courageous. Keep this fabulous journal coming and look forward to your arrival in Sydney December 23rd all our love to you both Dad and Jen
Having thoroughly enjoyed being at home in England for the past two and a bit years, we are now heading off again. This time we are starting in Morocco (November 2010) and travelling with Oasis Overland, down to Cape Town. This leg should take about 5 months, after which we will be travelling independently and might visit parts of the East Coast and then carry on to Asia for a year or so. We will simply see where we fancy going at the time.
We hope that you enjoy the blog, as and when it gets updated.
Lots of Love, Emma & Marc XXX (Carpe Diem)
