First I'll write about my last 3 days in Croatia: I spent the Sunday afternoon at Polari camping around the pool because I was invited by the animators, and also monday evening when they had live music there. I hung around and had some drinks together with Andrea, Tonka, Mario, Zdravko and Zeljko. Later I went again to Monvi with Mario and two of his friends. Tuesday we left Croatia by bus, drove through Slovenia, Austria and Germany...and 24 hours later I was home. That day my school called me and said that they've found a new teacher so I don't have do postpone my trip to Ukraine. I took off to Ukraine two days later. Hello all, this is my first entry from Croatia. A very long one (two pages). Good news: the past entries are back, but not all pictures! Im working at a campingsite for a Dutch travelorganization who organize vacations especially for single families. When they arrive, they all have their own big tents with a fridge, beds, plates, spoons, forks etc. everything they'll need. Im the driver, which means that I have a small bus and I have to carry the guests to their activities around and pick them up again. Twice a week I bring them to the supermarket. Beside driving the car, I help my colleagues entertaining the kids, washing the dishes etc. Geertje is the coordinator. The other five: Mark, Nick, Thijs, Kelly and Jo Ann are the kid-animators. Buongiorno!!! Im writing here from Stazione Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Toscana! I will take the train 1,5 hours later, so I decided to come here and write a quick entry. On Saturday when I woke up, the pain in my throat was still there so I decided to head to a doctor in Sorrento. I took a bus to the hospital, where they attended me right away. I had an infection, because of the heat plus being in cool places with aircondition, having cold drinks etc etc....combination of cold and heat. Anyway, I got some medicines which I have to take for 5 days. The doctor charged 50 EUR just for opening my mouth and look inside for 5 seconds, and write down the medicines I need to buy at the pharmacy. But my insurance ... read more

Ciao, tutto bene? Saluto e abbraccio da Roma!!! Finally I arrived in Italy last Thursday, when I landed at Roma Ciampino Airport after a 2:45 hr flight from Stockholm, Sweden. Then I took the bus to Ciampino station, and then the train to Roma Stazione Termini (central station). My hostel is just a 5 minute walk from Termini, so it was easy to reach. It's a great location, both metro lines in Rome passes through the station and I bought a one-week metro & bus ticket. The hostel is just ok, but below my expectations. In the hostel I met several people again from all over the world: from Portugal, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, USA, Poland among others.
