you forgot... the part of when you leave your glasses @ lenscrafters over night too for the viewing of einstien. I wish I had hair like him. =/ fo really.
Chess inaccuracies... First of all you did not crush me. Second of all, I beat you four times. And I never lost to anyone in a REAL game of chess. So there.
On another note, that's a sweet pic of me al and jeff.
On another note, I hope your travels are going well. How's your money situation? If you start to run out, you know you can play "half-chess" for money. hahaha.
Hope you're not eating postcards or whatever yet. ;)...
Ciao!

Eli Barnes, I've missed you!! I know, I am officially the worst friend you have at keeping in touch with you, but I have been reading your blogs and it sounds like you're doing some incredible stuff! I haven't read all your comments, just the blogs, but has anyone told you how to convert kilometers to miles yet? 5k is 3.2 miles, and 10k is 6.4, so you have less miles than kilometers...at least thats what andrew tells me!! Remember the rugby team on the ferry to newport? Maybe you'll meet them, if you do, show them my picture!! You are taking awesome pictures...I can only imagine what seeing the other 900 you have already will be like. Okay, well, just wanted to make sure you knew I was keeping up with you! We all miss you. mwah
Einstein's ghost I heard you can also see Eintstein when you forward this comment to 25 people... you will also receive 25,000 francs, and save 50 starving kids in Africa. if you don't forward this, you will have bad luck.
Monika is right... Hey, just wanted to say hi. Monika is right, as soon as I came back from Germany and walked into work, everyone was talking about you and what you wree doing, etc. EVERYONE and their Mama wanted to be added to your list, and everyone knows what you are up to. Well, I just got to San Fran, first day of work tomorrow. Will see Vitaly no later than Tuesday and then apartment hunt!!!! All the best, keep in touch! Katrin
yep... thats a lot. Your pictures are key... thanks for all the great info from your travels, eli. It's cool to be able to chart your travels on the map.
looks chilly :o without the jalepenos...you know the cold kind. err.. Well yay europe still looks are gorgeous as ever. AJ said she would go travel with me after we graduate for some time :) I am seriously considering it. The swan was planning that, he just doens't like americans and wanted you to jump in the fridged waters. *shakes fist* I had a pidgeon almost fly right into my head by school, I had to duck down =/ Be careful in France! There are lots of riot happening right now...
Nothing new here really, going home for turkey day and I was in the presence of a HUGE gang fight @ the mall last night, that being 1 of 3 locations it happened at, at the same time...fun... Good thing I had my machetti straped to my leg, I was fending people off! whew... Kepp in touch bud
Doesn't take much to get addicted First you realize how much you actually enjoy something but you are in denial to the addiction until you can't have it. Then you have to admit it. I AM ADDICTED to your blogs, so be sure to keep up the great work or you will be responsible for the bad things that might happen. Seems like there is a bunch of people just like me. Everywhere we go we talk about Eli's latest adventure. Last night we were sending Katrin off to San Francisco (someone will have to keep an eye on Vitaly!) with a big bash at RiRa and it seemed like you were there yourself the way people talked about you. What a life!!! C YA
My Brother! Eli, how sweet! I love the pics. I can only imagine how happy your parents are that they get to see whats going on out there, especially with all the money you are gonna spend! haha. Thanks for keeping up with your blog. I like knowing where you are, and it feels like you aren't too far from me! So I was going to make you another cd, but I'm not sure where to send it? Any suggestions with where you are going to be in the future? Love ya babe,
Jenny B.

Finally! WOW! I didn't realize how much I liked reading your blogs until I didn't get any and then I wonderd where the heck you were and why wasn't I getting anymore blogs from you. Finally rcvd this one and loved everything you have done, are doing, etc.
Rock On!
Howdy! Your back and better than ever. I missed you and your travel stories. Glad to hear things are well with and that you are meeting some great people along the way. Good thing you were blessed with the abilty to gab! I am glad that the "leather bound journal" came in handy. Finally, I am somewhat mentioned in the soon to be world-wide published travel adventure book staring and written by the one and only Eli Barnes. Eli, if only Prof. Brosnan can see you now with not only great work but a following that he never had. Ha ha ha! Keep up the good work. Love ya man- BB
keep 'em coming! yeah, i toldja zurich's expensive...it seems cheap, right when you first get there, because you get so MANY francs to the euro...but then it's like 40 francs for a piece of pizza.
nightlife in madrid is INSANE. i was only there on a friday and saturday night, and it was june, so i don't know what it's normally like...all i know is that when jo and i, still very jetlagged, headed out of our hostel for a late bite at midnight, people were streaming out of their apartments, hostels, etc towards the center of town. in droves. there were more people on the streets at 2 am that 2 pm (or any point during the day, really). appetite whetter yet? you'll have fun there.
on a more personal note, i'm writing a song with a line directly inspired by a conversation we had in 9th grade.
i love you and miss you,
~becca
normally you and I are lucky getting on trams n such for free... I wish my week went like that...nope..just prepping for finals. boo... Good to hear you have poeple to stay with and that they cook stir fry :) Cook some chicken enchiladas...sheesh...
I bet you are very excited for Madrid/Spain as a whole. The night life will be good for you..just like the good old days..well the first two years of college, i'll say that. Don't drink too much sangria....
I have to go give cabe a jump start and its not even 6 am...bah @ him for leaving his lights on all night!
Travel safe.
Hey Handsome! Well, well thank god for Jillian or I wouldn't be able to keep track of you. Look at you my little World traveler. Good for you, looks like you are having a blast! I am so jealous! Live it up! You'll have to keep me updated from now on (email: michelle.beaver@marriott.com) I'll just have to live vicariously through you. Haha Be safe and have fun! Much Love, Michelle
Elias! Eli! I missed you're daily blogs....... They are what completes my morning ritual of internet "doings". I'm glad to hear things are still great!
