Well, I dont think i'm having a mid-life crisis just yet at 32, but I have decided that life is far too short. Having children at 19 I pretty much missed out on the girls holidays and traveling around the world like my lovely cousins did. So I have made a promise to myself that as my children are now getting older I can afford to travel to some of the places I have always wanted to see for myself. My ultimate trip I think would be a safari in Africa as well as Borneo and the Middle East. But there is also a lot of Britain I havent seen believe it or not! I have never been to our Capital, London (which I am going to cross off my list in December for my cousins wedding). Also I have'nt been to Scotland. Edinburgh here I come in a couple of weeks.
So I hope to log all of my adventures, however small in a blog with plenty of photographs that will be satisfying to look at in years to come and I think there may be lots of soul searching along the way!

My mum moved to County Sligo in Ireland a few years ago when she remarried. A place she had always told me was of outstanding beauty...she wasn't wrong! After promising for over twelve months we would go and visit I finally got round to booking the flights for my daughter, son and myself. We flew from Manchester in rather a smaller plane which I was used to and in no time at all we landed on Irish turf. There was no huge airport, just a couple of buildings, a small landing strip and a cafe! Mum met us on the runway!!
