I like traveling and writing. Recently I've been doing a lot of both in the former Soviet Union. I finance my travels by teaching English, writing for websites and magazines and taking journalists and tourists on trips to live with the nomadic Nenets reindeer herders of Arctic Siberia's Yamal Peninsula.
