fruit bats I loved the fruit bats when I was there. They are related to the canine family. So cool! They even take care of their own family's young (e.g. Aunty takes care of junior). I learnt that whilst on a walk in Cape Tribulation. Save the fruit bat!!!! Nice to see you all enjoying your "winter". Can't complain here, only minus 2 out, very warm! Best wishes Theresa
the clogs! Hello, The girls sure enjoyed your joey video and the clogs! Looks like you are all well and happy. Take care and thanks for sharing. Love you all Angela
warm weather Warm weather which I need and didn't get on my trip to the Mediterranean. I guess I need to come to Australia. The beaches look wonderful.I'm sure you are going to do something wonderful for the Holidays coming up.
Banananananananananana! The big banana is very entertaining! Did you know that the banana plant is the largest member of the herb family, it has a fibrous trunk and is therefore not a tree? Although bananas themselves are the fruit or berry of the plant. And also do the bananas in the southern hemisphere curve clockwise or anti-clockwise? I can't remember!
Glad to see you guys are having fun over there.
Great pics - we stopped at a few of those places on our way to Byron Bay too, many years ago - including the "big banana" - we were in a oversized item stage and snapped many pics of that ourselves.

Good fotos Hi - we have just got back from a similar trip!
Such a pity you didn't get to the Olgas: they are not that far away: so different, but still beautiful.
It is allowed to walk in.
I actually loved them more.

Hi Guys! What great pictures. Simon loved the star wars and aquarium shots and only wanted to know when we'd be going there ourselves, prompting a short geography lesson. Missing you and happy to hear that you are lovin' your travels. They sound fantastic.
Hugs
Star Wars and Star Fish Don and Michelle, that was awesome! As you know I am a Star Wars (nerd) fan. I saw a similar show whilst traveling through Edinburough, Scotland. Don, no the cape is very slimming, Gabe, I could tell which one was the robot--great disguise, and thanks for the Platapus! Can't wait to get her/him. My cats will be thrilled!
And yes, the Sears Catalogue rocks! Can I have your autograph?
LOL!
