Bad kebab... Africa » Ghana » Greater Accra » Accra
Probably just a quick entry today as not feeling 100% and heading home to try and eat some dinner soon! Lots of us volunteers went to a reggae beach party on Labadi beach on Wednesday night which was really cool, lots of cool people (and a few hasslers!) but good music and scenery. But I ate some of a spicy sausage kebab and was so ill yesterday, couldn't stop being sick and spent all day in bed and in the toilet! Luckily it flushed for the whole day, and is still flushing today. Still no shower though, but good news is [View Full Entry]

Hi everyone! We had torrential rain all night from about 2am onwards last night (it's getting towards the end of the rainy season here), and it was still tipping it down at 7 this morning, consequently there are more mosquitos around and I have been bitten a fair few times today, didn't get bitten at all last night! Aishu (my roommate) gave me the good news that the toilet was flushing (we were using buckets of water before!), and I got excited that the water had come back on, so tried the shower and to my delight water came out, but [View Full Entry]

After about 15 mins she calmed down, which was good because she was on my row a few seats down! She stared silently for the rest of the flight (7hrs) and didn't eat, drink or [View Full Entry]
