Dont generalize I spent 6 months in america and most people were quite nice.Like everywhere you find good and bad..compared to other nationalities I wont mention(*wink-wink*) americans are quite sweet!

Hi, Have been enjoying your blog. I just found it added to my favourites, started reading when you were in se asia just before I went. Got back the other day (so depressing!!!) and caught up since I last read. Im so jealous, you look like you've had a great time! Hopefully I'll get a chance to go to south american and oz one day.

Great insight to Noosa trip
I loved reading your account as our son is on a gap year and is doing this trip today. he will not be home for another 3 months and will have so much to tell, this gives the details lI'm sure he will leave out. Very interesting Thanks!

I'm finally getting around to checking out your blogs, super stoked to see that you guys are having fun in the sun like me :) Where are you girls? my facebook is Iris Ready, a.k.a. squinty eyes, so if you could add me i would be thrilled. I'm meeting lots of people, but you girls have a firm place in my heart, i had such a great time bashing TAT and fending off Woody the guide with you both... goodtimes all around. I've read your post, and also your friend's, thanks for the report. You may be interested to know that your reactions are being discussed in a Thai-language discussion forum. They're a bit alarmed that you think you're being taken! I'd like to suggest, respectfully, that you stick to your first reaction about the people you meet in Thailand -- their friendliness and eagerness to help are not an illusion, and they're not all in on a scheme against you. It may be true that you could do the trip for less, especially if you don't mind searching around each city for hostels with mosquito problems and no hot water -- but why not enjoy the convenience of having it all planned in advance, and staying in better facilities? That's part of the value you're getting for your 500 pound. You may be very glad to be free of those worries when you get out into the countryside where not so much English is spoken. You're definitely doing the right things so far. I'll keep watching your reports, and I hope you have a great time there. Make sure you get an authentic Thai massage if you haven't yet, and don't be afraid to stray off the tourist path for your meals.
