Sung to some lively maraca-infused music or perhaps a lively salsa or even a party-time samba. If salsa, it’s 4/4 time, step on 1-3 and hold the 4th beat; imagine yourself on a 10x10 dance floor with 20 other couples. It’s fast, like the FaSt team, 180-210 beats per minute.
Ready! Let’s Hear It!
Let the Band Begin:
Somos Calientes, Calientes, Calientes,
Ellos No, No, No,
Somos Calientes, Calientes, Calientes,
Ellos No, No, No.
Ahora con movimento cubano!
Somos Calientes, Calientes, Calientes,
Ellos No, No, No,
Somos Calientes, Calientes, Calientes,
Ellos No, No, No.
Are you ready to party? Disfruta el 5 de Mayo. Gracioso. Caliente mi amiga. This reminds me of the Cupid Shuffle. It's almost your birthday and time for a Party.
La Sala Here the salsa is the most popular workshop of the school. There is a gentleman who comes to teach the workshop every day from 4 - 6, mostly afro-cuban music. I can hear it in my sleep. I think it is time for some slow, smooth, musica estado unidensa for me. But I have weeks to go before I sleep to american music....I miss you guys....see you soon.
awwww that's all I could think of as a comment title because every picture is so great. You eating ice cream, chocolate, buying or looking at clothes. You are going to be so rested when you return to us. You are homesick because you see and hear and feel so many wonderful things that you want us to be included and it makes you sad that we aren't there to enjoy all of it with you. But I at least am enjoying it through your pictures and stories. Keep up the good work and hurry back.
aaww you are so very precious Laverne you know just the right things to say to make me feel better, especially about my homesickness. I am better now that I am rolling downhill toward home. I am glad that you enjoy the photos.
Hola Auntie D:
I know it has been ages since I have emailed. However, that has not stopped me from praying. Glad to see that you are having a wonderful time. The food on the stove looks wonderful. Muy Bueno. Continue enjoying yourself. Be safe. Traci.
Oaxaca Donzetta,
I enjoyed the photos very much. The panoramic shot is really cool. Since I am also visiting Oaxaca, I can attest to how many things there are to see and do. I especially enjoyed the youth concert in the park. Thanks for including me in you blog list.
Oaxaca I am so glad to know that you are enjoying the blog. It is my attempt to share with others my wonderful experiences here. I hope you guys are continuing to enjoy your "viaje del mundo".
El zocalo These photos bring back a lot of memories. When I was in Oaxaca we stayed in the hotel right on the zocalo and spent a lot of time hanging out there. I love it!
Thanks very much for the updates. They're great!
Donzetta, Your blog is wonderful. I love the pictures and the comments about each person. What a blessing you are having. Just a note: I have now purchased a New Truck and a used Travel Trailer. I have 10 weeks to learn to use them properly before I start on my new phase of my life. Just want you to know your an inspiration to me.
Sandra

I'm so glad to hear from you Marcelino,
I am so glad to hear from you. I was wondering if any of the class had seen the blog. I am so glad to hear that it has touched your heart.
Please send to me the name of the metzcal that you wanted. I left your note at home....Donzetta
Happy Easter Oh Donzetta, I was thinking of you yesterday. Frank and I went to St Thomas Moore church and out front they had a large group of Aztec Indians in all their colorful garb. Beautiful yellow, red, feathers and all ages, dancing to their music. After Mass they were cooking fresh things up that I couldn't pronounce or understand. Looked and smelled delicious but we were in a hurry so didn't stop to participate. Father Perez comes from somewhere outside of Mexico City and includes his culture and family in the homily. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day and those to come. Love LaVerne
These It is wonderful to see pictures and to hear from you. You are a blessing to sooooooooo many people; God is blessing you back. Learn a lot, and come home safe and smart!
My most recent trip was to Cuba this spring. I shared a few photos, but I did not have time to share more. I am now at a point that I can share more. I am changing my profile to show that I am not at the present time traveling in Oaxaca. Hopefully, this update is clear.... full info
