Alrighty then. Home, here we come! It is about 5:15pm now (Korean Time), we board in about 10 minutes, so I'll keep this short and sweet. So much to report...hard to get it all in one sitting. The night after I wrote last, we got robbed! Therefore, making us less interested in writing to share our crummy news. It really has been quite a let down! While we were out on the town that night, sometime between 9:30pm and 2:30am, someone had the brass to break into our locked bungalow and steal all of our electronics and many other valuables. Another beautiful day in paradise. I am not really sure what day of the week it is or the date, but I know we are still in May. It seems like the only way that we find out anything resembling the date is during the day and late at night in Thailand they have fights. Fighting seems to be a huge part of their culture, tons of promotions for the fights and trying to get peope to attend. They have fights Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Alright, this weather has taken a second day to force us to relax and read a bit more. I have come to town on my own (Don suggested that I drive by myself every once in a while) to exchange my reading book and jot a few things to you guys. Today, May 18th, the weather is not very good. Very windy out and the clouds are grey. Today, we had planned to take a drive out to Shark Bay and check out the snorkeling there. We were told that Manna Rays, Reef Sharks, Great Barracuda, and Clown Fish were within view. Yesterday, we drove out to two different points of the island (South and East) and snorkeled there. Well hello there, Jen hardly lets me use the computer because I write soooooo slow. So today I sent her on a mission to get us a berth on a slow boat to China or Ko Tao. Everything has been going good, can't think of many problems. We have been spending time lately mostly in or around the water. Snorkling has just been medium and I am looking forward to getting over to Ka Tao where it is fantastic. Ko Phan-gan has been very nice. We made it throught the Full Moon Party... not without some hitches. We had our first encounter with the Federalies (Local Police). During out fun times and beach going, someone took it upon themselves to steal some of our stuff. Granted it was our fault for leaving it, but we left it among what we thought was a safe and well populated area, next to some local vendors and local family with kids. Dubai sure was a great trip!!! Amazing the archetecture there and the amount of money that comes and goes through that country. On our second to last day, we took a very long walk along the beach park to watch the sunset and during our walk back we were just following the main roads. We had no idea where the bus stops where because of the road construction that is going on there and all of the bus stop signs had been removed (builing an underground tunnel system that should open in 2009)... Arrived into Dubai last night about 1am. They had a little trouble with our (Jen's bag), we waited over an hour for it to arrive. It was the last article of luggage off of the plane. Oh well, the flight over was amazing. It lasted a little over 6 hours. We got to drink whatever and whenever we wanted. He had a four course meal. We chose what movies that we wanted to watch from our own personal TV sets (or Sports events, or World News, or TV, or Video games) imbedded in the seats infront of us.
