Only a few days left here in Hawaii and its been fantastic if you ever get the chance to come dont hesitate.....We recently went hiking to a waterfall, a Valentines sunset cruise and today we saw Pearl Harbour. All were fantastic especially the cruise...although we did have to put up a fight to get the top deck of the cruise....but eventually all went well......until the bus left us behind...gggrrrrrrrr. Anyway off shark fishing tonight that should be interesting hopefully i'll have a few SNAP! shots. Enjoy some of the photos Regards David and Claudia... read more

Well were back in Hawaii and the weather is fantastic blue skys and a nice cool ocean breeze.......Catching up with Uncle Chris tonight at Dukes Bar, thats if I can find it. Went shopping today at the central Plaza shoppinh centre, very big food court as well. All you do is catch the No 8 bus from the main strip.(cost $2) Check out some of the photos we have take below. We are off to do some activities over the next few days, such as, a the Hawaiian Dancing, Pearl Harbour and a little SHARK fishing at night. Anyway I will add those photos soon.... read more

hi all we ar in San fran and on our first exciting day we rode around the bay and of course across the Golden GATE Bridge it was fantastic... the weather closed in and we kept on riding for 5 hours finally to catch a ferry back to the pier. We just got back from chinatown and ate in the oldest chinese restaurant in San Fran.."Four Seas" it was good but as we left an old man started a fight with the host because he would not let him in LOL!!. Anyway gotta run. PS Lesley we got your message thanks and we got a big book of postcards....:) Just to add its now our last day in San fran and its been pouring rain. We just came back from Alcatraz which costs around $22US each ... read more

Well where off to Hawaii and beyond in the next few weeks so keep and eye out for our blogs . We will be spending a few days in San Francisco and Las Vegas which should be fun.Having never been to the States we are eagerly looking foward to hoping on a plane for that 14 hour trip.....NOT!. Look I'll jump right into it this place is great. Stepped off the plane to be chauffeured off to the resort (Tungjung Rhu). Was offerred refreshments and quickly escorted to our room... ooh la la. We promptly started our holiday by getting stuck into the food glorious food (it was lunch time and we were hungry). Note: take a package deal all you can eat in any restaurant (there are 3 to choose from). We then took pictures around the resort had dip in the lagoon pool. Hi all - We'll I guess your wondering what I mean by twin peaks and shopping. Well we visited the twin towers (in otherwords "Petronas towers") yesterday and this morning we went to spend some cash at Chinatown...you'll find it easy to get to by the monorail. Thought I'd put together a few Q's & A's. Twins towers - free!! Just go pick up tickets in advance. Taxis - always bargin (otherwise go metered). We paid 7-8rm for travelling around city from one end to other. Good spot to eat - Hawkers food court behind Lot 10(a shopping mall). Two meals under 12rm (very tasty). BB Plaza - 6 levels of shopping heaven (for some). Everything - jewelry, dvd's, clothes, shoes and phones phones phones. Good bargins to be had .. always ask for "best price". ... read more

Arrived in KL yesterday (very early after very minimal sleep) - met up with Rob and Tracey and decided we should go to Genting - like a large indoor and outdoor entertainment complex, with casino's, many rides outdoors and indoors, shopping, cable car etc you get the point. Thought we'd have a fun day enjoying the ride etc, and then we arrived at the top of the hill (after many frustrating attempts at getting a taxi driver!!!!! - that doesn't want to rip you off). While we'er on the subject note about taxis: get one that has a meter, or you will have to haggle for a decent price. City trip 10 rm (max absolute max), trip to Genting - 150rm, getting back 80rm.
