Hey Guys!
Welcome to my blog! I have been planning to keep a travel journal for years and am now finally getting round to it!
I am a travelling fanatic and it is my biggest passion. So far I have travelled to Western and Eastern Europe, South East Asia, China, Hong Kong and parts of Canada and America however I am far from finished!
Keep an eye on my blog for my latest adventures. When I'm not on a journey across the globe, there is definitely an adventure in the pipeline! 😊
Hope you enjoy and feel free to drop me a line if you have any comments!

I have stayed in A LOT of hostels over the years. After backpacking through South East Asia in 2008 and visiting some of the poorest areas of the world where accommodation is extremely basic, I was amazed to discover that actually Berlin is now home to what can only be described as possibly the worst hostel I have ever encountered. Never before have I seen anything like it. I have left the name out of this rant for obvious reasons. Upon arriving in Berlin we had the dreaded task ... read more

During my two months in Berlin, I fell in love with the city and for that reason decided to return this year to show the city off to my partner who had never been. I would never normally return to a destination I have already been to, however in this case I was definitely willing to make an exception. Berlin is certainly a city worth visiting and is my personal favourite in Europe. Unlike many other capital cities, Berlin is relatively inexpensive and no matter where you are in the city you will have no problem with navigation. ... read more

Europe » Germany » Hesse » Frankfurt am Main August 25th 2012

Arriving in Frankfurt I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I had never really heard much about the city, other than its reputation of being Germany's main financial hub, offering a breath taking skyline. It was never somewhere that had cried out to me as a tourist destination however as my flight on the way to Berlin dropped me there, I thought why not check it out en route. Upon arriving in Frankfurt we decided to embark upon a bus tour. This seemed like the most sensible way to discover the city I knew so little about. Sitting on a bus with minimal movement also seems like a great idea when you have been traipsing round an airport since 4am! The bus tour was EUR19.00 and claimed to offer a day ticket for the city tour, ... read more
