Update: Los Patos to Sirena Nice adventure post DebP!
Here's an update for those who want to follow in your footsteps, since November 2009 hikers must have a guide with them on the Los Patos to Sirena trail.
I can fully recommend a local Osa born biologist Ballardo Diaz, of Jaguarman's Jungle Adventure. He educates you as you trek, as well as cares for your safety. You can find him at his FB fan page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jaguarmans-Jungle-Adventures/203977601764
We do not have one in our back yard there is one in our lake but it does not go in the water but is about 7 feet long. It is still there. pls. send comments to my email - thanks.
Great review Hi,
I love your review and pictures of the wildlife of Gorgona. I am a biology teacher in Cali and we travel to Gorgona with the 8th grade every year. I am going to share your blog with my students. Thanks.
Excellent Bolg! I stumbled across your blog quite by accident, and am very glad I did. The photos are excellent- beautiful. Your commentary is informative and humorous, (the monkey chase was very funny and who doesn't love a smug monkey). All very interesting, thanks...
A pinch of salt? Great travel stories accompanied by wonderful pictures... Good stuff for the miserable people stuck in (now) rainy England.
Bolivia has been on my travel-to-do list for so long. Reading all this, it just shot up a couple of places to my top three - just made a mental note of packing my thermals when I go though...
Amazing ... so envious! Happy Christmas to you wherever you are! Only just logged on to day so lots of reading to catch up on. Am now redundant officially - so Central America beckons!
Will write more to you in a few days time when am mother free after x mas!
much love xxxxx
Happy Christmas Deb,
Hope you are enjoying the traveling life and settled for christmas
Have a great one
Hope to hear from you soon
Take care
Sophie

Send us a bit of rays please... Lovely pictures of the wildlife down there - it was worth the time of download! My favourite is still the profile picture of the baby croc... You must have been quite close to the whales to get to zoom up their barnicles (or whatever they're called...)
How long does it take to attach some little packages of summer warmth to your blog?? We desperately need it here!
Enjoy the adventures in Chili and I hope your boat trip goes well...
Eye candy... I am talking about the marvelous tomb stones off course!! ;-)
I knew the Argentinian men would not disappoint! Had the same gawping problem when I was over there last June... very embarrassing when you're in a business meeting with 3 of THE hottest men ever!
Enjoy!
The hot bloke theme Hey Debs! Nice to hear you got there Ok. I think I can spot a theme running through your blog - blokes! Don't forget to update us chaps with news on the hottness of the local women too!
Sounds fantastic How hot are the men? and is it worth me selling boyfriend/house/child and buying a ticket? I WANT TO BE IN A DRAWING ROOM, SIPPING TEA AND LISTENING TO TANGO. Sounds fantastic, Deb. Please keep me posted on what you're doing, i can escape into dream land for a few moments x You need to go out and purchase a local paper right away, cut a inconspicuous hole in it and snap those men ! then post photo's on here. ta xx much love. x x x
