luxurious! Hey D! Very cool staying with the family speaking rapid fire Spanish :o) I love the narratives and pics and you should get someone to take pics of you too!
Be well and "e" you soon!
Blue bins We use the same size blue bins to transport books between libraries in our cooperative. Yes, they are quite heavy when they are full of books. There are plans to go to a more compact bin in the future.
I enjoyed your Nicaragua post. It made me want to go there. My blog is looking for travel photos. If you have any time, email us some at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com or check us out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com
Continued fun on your travels,
Eric
Safe trip Hi Dawn - I hope you have a great, safe trip - good weather and a great time together when Rich comes.
I'm sorry you never made it over here. I counted on you, Doug and Barbara coming to visit.
We're slowly getting packed up. We'll be leaving Sunday morning. I'll sure miss this place and all our new friends and the activities but I am anxious to see Lori and the kids and of course our friends at home - maybe a couple weeks would do it - LOL - but I guess I'll have to stretch that out to about 5 months.
Take care! I love you! Aunt Pat
Great! Glad to see you made it ok. All is well here. Sydney has torn up the phone book 2 days in a row. She misses her mom when she's home alone all day and takes it out on the phone book. I went fishing today. We caught 7 redfish and a bunch of small trout, only 2 keepers. All is well here. Take care.
Love you and miss you already.
Rich
Hey babe, Great pictures and notes. Sounds like you're having a great time. WTF? A Bonefish!!! Did you get a picture of the flats with the potential bonefish? I don't think there are bonefish anywhere in Costa Rica. Things are good here. Went fishing at 7 this morning and got rain and lightning at about 930, so that sucked. Your dad said Sydney and the cat are good, Ronnie said the ducks are good and laying eggs. Don't know about LBJ (Little Brown Job). Have fun, take care and be safe, call me when you get back to the hotel and hook up with your classmates tomorrow (Sunday).
Love you and miss you, Rich.
Great Wow, Dawn, what nice pictures. I look forward to your blogs - so interesting. I'll be anxious to hear all about your host family. Have a GREAT trip. Love, Aunt Pat
Hey Babe!
Good luck on your latest Odyssey! I'm glad to see you made it OK. Be safe and have a great time. Love you and miss you.
Pura Vida!

Spanish School Hey Carol!
I am glad you could view my blog and thanks for your comments. I am studying here now to get my Spanish skills better. I will be coming back to a different area of Costa Rica to do my research with a group of Anthropologists in June and July.
Now I am struggling with the culture shock and language so that I can get more out of my time here later this summer. I don´t feel that I am getting any better but I continue to try.
We can have a virtual coffee. I am 2 hours behind you and I have mine at around 7:30am - so have yours at 9:30am tomorrow and I´ll be thinking about you!
Love,
Dawn
WoW! Dawn, I am excited to hear about your trip. Is school for more Spanish language or something different? Is it the same school as before? Wish I could have some morning coffee with you there. I can view the map, it is quite a distance.
