Great Blog I\'ve been to Vietnam several time, but never left the city of Saigon. Never been to Thailand, but hope to go some day. I took a lot of pics while in Saigon and posted them to my blog, The Vietnam Traveler (dot) com. I wish you had more pics to see also.

From the photograph I could see you were staying at our favorite place to stay in Kanchanaburi. V N Guesthouse ( on Facebook ) is so relaxing a place to stay. Staff are so helpfull and the restaurant serves up great choices of food. As you said,most of the bars on the road to the bridge are not ones you feel you need to avoid. Enjoy your travels. Stan

Stuff Door stop a good one to take - oh and some of the cotton thread to do hair threading on the beach you hippy ! Very jealous have a fab time and remember some of those ladies in Thailand aint no laydee !! xxx
just thought i would write something because i can't see any comments from anyone. I can't wait to see all the pics you put up on here that will make me and alot of people jealous. (maybe not pics of you eating frogs and other creatures) more pics of the scenery and stuff lol peace out dudes :) xx
One of us 6 years into a career, the other only 1 - both bored! Think it's time to go travelling! Headed for 3 months in South East Asia before relocating to the Alps for 6 months running a chalet in Samoens. Writing a blog is the best way to keep everyone informed that we're still alive. We will try and update as often as possible when not passed out, in prison or hospital or knee deep in......crystal blue waters or snow (get your mind out of the gutter!)
