So this is it... My last full day in Europe. Germany was amazing. We were in a small town that was very relaxing to be in. We're in Amsterdam now and tomorrow back to the US of A! I'm sad to leave here but I'm really REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone. So far today we went to the Anne Frank museum. It was a surreal feeling being there. I forgot to tell you about the money here. Its so weird I'm used to the pound and the euro and that whole exchange rate crap but this place is messed up. Kroners is their money. The exchange rate isnt bad but I took out 800K yesterday but that's only like 60 US dollars.... its SO wierd. WE're like we're using monopoly money right now... it just seems fake. So I only have five days left! Its so hard to believe that I've been away for two monthes already! Prague is quite different from all the other places we've been sofar. I like it here(not as much as Itlay of course!). Yesterday we had a walking tour and then some of us went to the communist museum and it was really eye opening. Oh how I loved Italy! It was so wonderful there! In Rome I did more historical site seeing but in Venice I spent one day at the beach! It was wonderful. We got tickets for the water taxi since thats there way of transportation... anywho we went to Murano first and watched people do glass blowing and sculpt these amazing pieces! THen to Tolido to lay in the sun on the beach for a few hours... I got a nice little tan but itll be gone when I get home sadly because thats supposed to be the best weather well have. Hey Guys! Today Im in Rome. Its beautiful here! THe weather is perfect 70 degrees and I even got a little pink from the sun! Yesterday I watched a changing of the guards type thing with the President of Italy! There were soldiers everywhere with a band playing. Then today is a national holiday so we saw him give a speech. We did a tour of the ancient ruins today and then saw the Colosuem. Its so amazing! Hey Guys! Paris was wonderful. I enjoyed it so much more this time than last. We did a bike tour of the city at night and it just made me love the city. WEll everyone I'm leaving Oxford tomorrow...sad! I just finished writing 7 essays in 3 and half hours. It was ridiculous! Sorry it's been so long since I've written. I've just been so busy and seeing as I only have 2 more full days left here in Oxford I feel like I still need to do SO much! I'm not really looking forward to leaving here because I've come to just love Oxford and it feels like a second hometown! WE've made some British friends here that it will be sad to say good-bye to. Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged but I've been SUPER busy! Saturday we had another fieldtrip. This time we went to Bath. It's so beautiful there. It's where the Roman baths are. We went into that building and saw all the ruins. I have lots of pictures so I'll have to show them to you and describe what's going on in them. I really enjoyed that site a lot more than Stonehenge. So today let me tell you about crisps which if you don't know are what we call potato chips back in the states. Well here there are the MOST unquie flavors imagined. My personal favorite is the roasted chicken because it tastes like chicken and its mmm good. But there are various flavors like smoked bacon, sweet thai chili, and cocktail prawns! BA! It's kind of rediculous. Also my favorite midnight snack here are called kebabs. THEY'RE SO GOOD! It's like a grilled chicken on a pita with lettuce and you can put sauces on it.
