Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged but I've been SUPER busy!
Saturday we had another fieldtrip. This time we went to Bath. It's so beautiful there. It's where the Roman baths are. We went into that building and saw all the ruins. I have lots of pictures so I'll have to show them to you and describe what's going on in them. I really enjoyed that site a lot more than Stonehenge. The city itself was really busy and filled with shops, people, and shows. We saw a man in a pink leotard and tutu on a unicycle juggling knives! (ryan, bryce, sarah, melissa, and others that this comment may contain to: Right when I saw the pink leotard I thought about Old Greg!haha)
Sunday was so busy! Matt, Austin, Britt, and I went into London. We got there about noon and got back to Oxford around 12:30am. We walked everywhere! We walked to Buckinham Palace. Took some photos there and walked to Paraliment and walked around that. We went to Westminster Abby and looked at the museum there. We got to sit in on the service as well. So that was a neat experience. Except they kinda block off the actual service. Then we were trying to figure out what time it was and Britt and I were like Do you know what time it is? No Do you? No...O UMM....Big Ben is right in front of us!!!! For those of you who may not know Big Ben is a GIANT clocktower! haha it was funny. So then we went to the Tata museum which is a modern art museum. It was interesting. There were some pieces that I just did not get but there were some really beautiful ones as well. Then we walked across the Millenium bridge. We saw the Globe theater (only the outside because it was closed and it cost money to go into anyway...) Then we wanted to eat some authentic Indian food so we went to an Indian resturant. I was kinda worried about how that was gonna go but it was good. Matt and Britt were both just red in the face because theirs were spicy. Mine had a little kick to it at the end but thankfully nothing I couldn't handle. Then we just walked around London some more.
Monday after my classes and lunch was over I went with a group of people to tour the Cotswolds. We went to 5 different towns that were so beautiful and picture perfect! They have rivers and flowers and little bridges. I have lots of pictures to show you all! haha there was a sign outside a church at like the second town that read "Dogs please don't loiter on the lawn" haha I bursted out laughing and Said "Dogs can't read!" and people giggled! It was funny!
