Our first three days in China have been quite exciting with many sites seen including Tian'amen square, Mao Mausoleum, Forbiddnen City, Beihai Park, Confusious Temple, Lama Temple, Daton Park, the Olympic Park, the Temple of Heaven and then the Silk and Pearl Market. Our days have been jam packed and our feet our already feeling the many amount of kilometers we have been walking. But each day has been uber exciting!! We are definetly enjoying ourselves. Hello Everyone, After being up for 24 hours Curtis and I finally made it to Beijing China!!!! We are very excited to be here. We already had an interesting adventure to get here. Our first flight was great to Vancouver. However, on our second flight to Beijing some passengar passed out and needed medical attention so we made an emergency landing in Anchorage, Alaska adding another 5 hours to our journey. It was a long wait flying into Alaska, waiting for the guy to be taken by the ambulance and then flying back out. We arrived in Beijing at 8:00 pm. [View Full Entry]

On Saturday, September 27th Curtis and I are leaving the country for 4 months. We are both very excited as this trip has been long awaited.
