Great Things Man You are doing great things man. You are really making a difference. Stay safe and we look forward to hearing from you. One thing, your soccer skills have obviousley deteriorated. You are not playing against the Webb Spartans anymore.
Love,

opened eyes You are just amazing, and it sounds like you have been surrounded by some more than outstanding people and children. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!!
Karen =)
Thank you Jeremy! Jeremy- I am balling my eyes out right now...I long to be in Kenya again. I am going later this year, but it is not soon enough. Your journal has helped me to remember the people, the conditions, the children and I am so greatful for your openness and details. You are an amazing young man whom I am so glad I got to meet last June. You need to extend your world travels to the great state of TEXAS and come see us soon!! My heart is forever connected to the people and children of Kenya and to you and all the wonderful team members that go to the world and not only speak the Gospel, but BECOME the gospel with their lives! Be Blessed- hope to see you soon. Love you- Ms Annette
Sylvester Hey I am from Singapore andI'm Christian too. Glad to see you and that Indian guy profess the faith in such a way.
My love is for travelling too. I will set off for HK, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia in a year's time.
I too will bring my Bible along. :) Great blog!
I miss the kids and Kenya Jeremy, I am not sure if you remember me, I was on the last trip with Jane when the violence started. I usually kinda stand back ,so you may not remember. ANYWAY, I have missed the kids and their smiles since I have been home. Being that we had to stay in one spot this trip I got to know the children well , and fell in love with each and every one. Please tell them all that Auntie Janis misses them and I WILL BE BACK !! I will try to help Nelson with his mission to help the people of his country .. I will send money straight to IAA and designate it for that. I am so glad you are there, the boys need a good roll model and sounds like you are the guy. God bless you and your love for the kids. I pray daily for them and the country, I will add you to the list, wrestling can get tortuous !! Tell Moses I am glad his face is healing well and I wish I were there to help him get well, your doing a good job though. If the wounds are not too deep it will not scar. Also, my heart goes out to George, I fell in my heart he sicker than it seems, please keep a good eye on him, ( silly to ask, I know you do)I mainly wanted to let you know that I and the last team there have been praying none stop for y'all. The kids are etched into our hearts and there is no better feeling getting a note from one of them telling you they love you. I pray as we go , we can do the best for them and in the long run help the country. Sorry this is so long, but I just have so much built up inside that I had to tell someone of my strong feelings for the kids at IAA and all of Kenya. Please try to keep in touch, Janis
praying Hey brother,
Because of the subject matter this is your most moving entry yet. Know that we are praying for you and other friends in country. Pat Barnett is second or third generation missionary at Eldama Ravine. Her family has a history in that region and suspect that you could find her if she is close. They are having same difficulties you are and see the effect of the Hand of the Same God that is covering you.
No need to reply. Know that I continue to pray as specifically as information comes in. Concerned about new worse outbreak if results of talks breaks down. Be as careful as you can...
In Christ

THank you Jeremy!!! Mama Annette here. I cannot tell you how much this blog and these pics helped me!!! I have been praying for IAA and the kids and for you since Dec 28th- and longing to be there!!! To see the kids---and especially my Kennedy smiling and having fun with you....well, lets just say, my heart feels better knowing that they have the comfort of having a strong man with them during all of the mess going on---Jeremy- you have to know that it is totally God that you are there right now!!! Give them all a big kiss and hug for me and tell them that Mama Annette loves them with all my heart---and I too will be coming back as soon as I can!!! love ya- annette
Kenya Jeremy, my heart is yearning to be back there. Reading this entry about the kiddos makes me smile and cry all at the same time. I miss them so much and think of them all daily. Please give them my love and give them BIG hugs from Auntie Penny. Tell Ann and Daniel, Donna, Kristine and all of the others hello for me. I love them so much. I want to be right where you are! Take care and keep them all safe. I can't wait til your next entry. I am praying for all of you and know God's mighty hand is upon you. No weapon formed against you can prosper in Jesus name. Take care....Penny
Keyan children relive my childhood, God save them. It breaks my heart, what these children must have had to endure and suffer through....with you there. You have probably created a lasting custom of "the monster" and "the powerbomb" that Keyan children a hundred years in the future will have to endure from their parents who learned it from their great grandparents who learned it from you. You are Legend.
Just kidding, I'm sure you've brighted the lives of these children to a degree that will last with them for the rest of their lives.
Keep it up and stay safe.
Dream of Africanization We're so glad you're safe (Blood Diamond kept coming to mind; like Di Caprio, only smaller) and congrats on the ascent, quite the achievement. Tell the locals I said "Click, click,.....click," they'll know what I mean. Be safe getting to the orphanage, you'll be in our prayers, and email whenever you can.
WOW I am no longer worthy to discuss my outdoor adventures around you - Congrats on the summit that is really awesome. We have been praying for your safety after hearing about the unrest in Kenya, glad you are keeping a low profile in Tanzania. We wish you the best in Kenya with the kids. Stay healthy.

Merry Christmas We all missed you this year and we pray that you had a merry Christmas. However, with you not there, I got double presents (sweet). Mount Kilaminjaro, that's nothing, I hiked House Mountain, the smallest mountain around. Once again, everything sounds wonderful from over there. Can't wait to hear from you again. By the way, I got Kim an engagement ring. Have a happy new year, brother.
Intenso I see the size a those camels! Wish I was your right hand man out there exploring those lands. Wish you good health and much peace this new year!
You've got skills Jeremias.

WOW Jeremy....What a trip you have had. Such memories you will hold with you forever. Enjoy your time at IAA and please tell Jen, Christina, Ann and everyone else there hello for me and I hope I will be able to get there soon. My heart longs to be there. Give each child a hug and kiss for me. Take care and great to hear from you. I pray for you daily and know God's hand is upon you.
Your friend,
Penny
Wow, India sounds intense. I would also struggle with all those people trying to scam you all the time - it is understandable that you lost your cool a bit, I probably would have as well. Just think if you would have been exposed to that back in our college years, there would have likely been an international crisis severing ties between the US and India.... The pics of the Taj were really cool, do they allow photos of the inside? I want to see what makes it one of the seven wonders. By the way, nice shirt and pants. Take care brother.
Beautiful I love your pictures Curl - a real inspiration! I had a few run-ins with those langur monkeys in India - they're no joke. I imagine you heard about that Delhi politico getting killed by a pack of them recently. Anyway, stay safe and keep the blogs coming.
I stand (actually sit) in awe I have been waiting on this blog and you didn't disappoint. I can't begin to express how much I wish I could have been along for this part of your trip. I should go ahead and throw all my adventureous pictures out after seeing these - they can't compare. The one with the tip of Everest "on fire" - well worth the 3.5 hrs wait. How did the climbing at 17,000 ft compare to our one-day 6,000 ft climb to Hurricane Pass in the Teton's? Enjoy the tofu and the handywork of our Creator.....
