Happy Turkey day
It's great to hear from you. I hope your staph is doing better and didn't bother you too much on your hike. Well, you are definetly quite the traveler. All that stuff, bathrooms (holes in the ground), tofu, cold, etc, you can keep. I'll blog about club med or a cruise or something. Anyway, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, you're in all our prayers, stay safe, and keep them comming. Pictures are unbelievable by the way.

Great story Curl, impressive that you were able to spread the Gospel with Staph on the brain..... I want an elephant too, do you think I could keep one in my basement? Glad you got some medical attention, hopefully you are really on the mend this time. Let's set up a Skype call in the next few days. Let me know when you will be available and have internet access. Later dude.

Well, somehow I'm not suprised that you were pestering the elephant (you could pester a fish). It's just amazing how much you experienceing in such a short span of time; since your last blog, I've worked and I went out to dinner one night. I guess you're really missing work by now. Ha. Anyway, stay safe and keep them coming.

down with spitters!
Hey Curl! It sounds like you're having such great time. I'm not a big fan of spitters, so I think Singapore has it right!!! I'm with Chad- I'd like to cane some litter bugs too. I'm actually reading your blogs out of order- and saw that the tips Carlos gave you on night photography were great (I just saw your photos from China). I am really enjoying reading about your trip. Keep the stories coming, they're very entertaining. miss ya, Dre'

"Mere Christianity " Does Come In Handy
Isn't it amazing how often people rely on the position, probably without even thinking about it, that C.S. Lewis so concisely and logically rejects in "Mere Christianity." That book really is an outstanding source for presenting a respectful, unoffensive but logical and presuasive defense of the Christian faith. In addition to seeing and doing all kinds of cool stuff, it looks like you and the Holy Spirit are achieving the objectives of 1 Peter 3:15-16. Keep the stories and pictures coming; my wife and I are really enjoying them.

WOW!
Jeremy, you are such a brave man! You are experiencing so much. You will have so much to tell your children one day. That is, if you stay in one place long enough to get married and have kids....LOL... I want you to know that I am praying for you and I know God has His hand upon you. I pray He keeps you safe and "NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU CAN PROSPER"! I am also praying for that infection to go in Jesus name. You have dealt with that long enough. The bible says, by His stripes you are healed, so I claim that for you right now in Jesus name. Enjoy the rest of your trip and keep us posted. I love reading your blogs and seeing the pictures. Keep them coming. Penny

Hi
I've been reading your blogs which are very informative and entertaining! I'm going to be traveling Thailand, Laos, Viet Nam, and Cambodia this winter so I get excited reading about your adventures! Is the sunburn/medical warning regarding Malaria medication by chance? I picked some pills up today and know that's a possible side-effect. Also, I'm prob going to be traveling alone (white female american)...I shouldn't have a prob meeting other travelers though right? because I'm not too keen on being alone there...

Holiday in Cambodia
Well, I must say, you're learning a lot. Maybe when you get back you should teach geography or cultural anthropology. Pol Pot actually holds the world record for the fastest collectevization of a country (I did a paper on Cambodia in college). I love that you're getting to see and experience all this, maybe you can get some more college credits for your "studies." Anyway, until next time, stay safe.

Yay for Vietnam!
Hey Curl, So glad you included Vietnam as one of your stops. I'm even more impressed that you made the trek to Nha Trang! I can't wait for a return trip there. Maybe we can even join our family when we make the trip back. The food is great, the beaches are beautiful, and the drivers are WILD! Best way I would describe traffic in Vietnam: organized chaos! Did you get some freshly pressed sugarcane drink? Try and get one while you're in SE Asian. Have some much fun and be careful out there in the world! PS- I think Tam means pin, toothpick, or stake. Maybe your pronunciation of Tam sounded like the word for heart in Viet...haha- all of y'all are wrong!

Oh, and by the way, if you can find a big cheap diamond at a discount gem thingy, I'll pay you back (I'll probably be needing it about when you return).

Well, I'd have to say those are some of the most beautiful pictures/landscapes I've seen. I'm glad you're getting to see it all first hand; I feel priviledged just seeing the photos. Anyway, have fun with that sunburn (that's gotta suck) and be careful.

Inspiring
I'm just someone who browsed and read this travelblog. I never read travelblog's writer who write so confidently and happily about his faith in Lord Jesus as you did. Kinda shock, but this is inspiring me. Thanks. From Joseph in south of Singapore (Indonesia).

There's really a place called Phuket, that's awesome. Just kidding. Thai is actually my favorite style of food, so that's pretty cool you're getting experience it there (roast duck red curry = best dish of all time). I'm glad you're getting to see all you are and sorry about the growth on the side of your phuken head, hopefully it will heal soon. Hope all goes well and stay safe.

Dude, Penang Curry is my favorite but I assume you didn't have any while you where there. IBS and Staph probably aren't a good combo. Your night pics are awesome, you have to let me in on the secrets Carlos gave you. Be sure to follow Ruth's advice so you can be healed! Enjoy Thailand - you have to eat some curry at least once while you are there. Just ask for extra mild, PB.

Hey!
Hey "Petri" You ALWAYS pay attention to mom. Enjoy your notes and pictures - keep 'em coming. I keep mentioning your needs to Dad everytime I think about you. Sounds like he needs to touch you on the head even if that goes against the culture. Dennis

Singapore sound like my kind of town, I bet you don't see anyone flicking their cigarette butt out the window.... The encounter with Gladwin sounded awesome, that is one of my favorite stories you have told so far. I was providing some training to Iraqis last week and they too were fasting, and although I made sure not to eat in front of them, it would be tough for Max to go the whole day. Really glad your trip is going so well, look foward to hearing from you soon.

Anyway, It looks like fun. I would love to take a break and join you. Be safe, My family thinks about you a bunch. Talk to you soon..... or later. Bmoore

Field trip to Singapore
I think Savannah should take all of its wonderful citizens to Singapore for a giant field trip; they'd run out of canes. Glad you're continuing to have a great trip. Have fun and until next time.

I'm so glad you got to see Nha Trang. The beaches there are prettier than some of the ones in Hawaii. Crazy, drivers those lil people are. Viet Tam is all wrong "Tam" means "good-looking" or "handsome" when you are talking about a guy, j/k. Safe travels.

Good stuff
First off, I knew Tam was a woman's name (you can tell by the way he screams), just mess'n Tam. Well, sounds like you've had another successful leg of your trip. Keep up the good stuff and stay safe; by the way, did you miss the typhoon that hit where all the people were being evacuated? Hope so. Until next time. Take it easy brotha.

Great Writing!!
I've been going to Nica for two years now and think that it and Panama are the best kept secret in Central America. I like your style or writing and also the types of activities you participated in. Keep up the great blogging!
