I arrived in Santiago at 1pm after more than 11hrs flying from New Zealand with no sleep, but decided to go out and explore a litle bit of the city, so after a quick shower at the hostel, which is situated in the Bellavista area (a bohemian area of Santiago with a few theatres and lots of restaurants, bars and clubs) I went out. My first stop was el Barrio Lastarria, where el Cerro de Santa Lucia is, with his little castle on top, and where you can enjoy some nice views of the city (but not to the mountains as it was very foggy, maybe polution I don´t know).
