Can you provide a link to your Instagram account....
I would love to see your pictures but don't know how to do so. I'm enjoying reading about your time in Chiang Mai. I lived there in 1974-75 when I was building the road to the top of Doi Inthanon and the radar station. I hope you have time to go there...the highest mountain in Thailand and you can drive to the top!

I don't think there is a link. Dowload the instagram app to your phone and create an account. Then search for Her Sole Abroad. You will have to request to follow me and once I approve you will see all my photos. Love Thailand so far! I'll be in Chiang Mai for 5 days and yes will see the national park. Very excited!

Feel like I'm there with ya!
These stories are incredible. I have been reading them to my husband at night, ending each tale with, "Courtney's so cool." one day you'll have to publish a memoir. Or run a vacation planning service for those who want to really experience these treasured destinations but have no clue how to find them. Thanks for sharing. It's a treat to end my day with images of determined baby turtles, black sand beaches and frothy surf rolling under fiery sunsets. Paradise!

Courtney Lohmann I enjoyed your USA visitor take on what we casually take for granted in South Oz ... where 50% of Aussie wine is produced ! Yes over the years .. far too many .. I have enjoyed what has now become my obsession ... .. the tasting & collecting of Aussie & world wines .. We go to Spain every year and Granada is perhaps the most beautiful. Hope you are enjoying yourself. If you get a chance visit Burgoes it is another amazing city and dont miss the coast in Marbella. Hank

Travel is embedded in my heart and soul. I think the more I travel, the more addicted to it I become. I know, this is a common problem! I think the best part about traveling is opening your eyes/mind to new experiences, people and outlooks on life. If you go into a country with an open heart and an open mind, you find a warmth in everything around you. In so many ways, the world is so similar and in so many ways, each place I've been is incredibly unique. Traveling has changed my approach to most things in my life.
