a couple of typos Cookie- I\'m still back to our Senior year at BHS when you sat next to me in Honors English-really a beautiful presentation-Kyoko loved the one I had taken her to at the FL Yacht Club several years ago and I forward these to her and Alynn who is also enjoying them
Enjoyed your blog, sad about exploitation of poor people. We are in P'town for a few awaiting another snow storm. You have escaped the tough, cold winter. My niece and I are among the few who do not mind the snow.
Keep enjoying, Dolores
Loving your blog Dear Cookie, How beautifully you write and describe what it really feels like to be in Bali, the
good, the bad and how these changes have come about. You certainly have a strong feeling for
the way of life in these places and you and the place blend together perfectly. So look forward
to more of your blogs. Be well, may God's divine protection and love surround you, Carlynn
So happy to hear from you Dear Cookie, What a lovely blog you wrote and such a lovely stay you have had with your son and
grandchild. Sorry about the split, but I guess it is for the best. Your hotel was quite beautiful.
We were at the club yesterday for the change of command and guess who was on our yacht? Almut
and Bob. So good to see them. We hope to have dinner with them in Feb. when they are back in
town for a week. They are planning a trip around the world! Told her about you and the e mails
that I had received. Keep them coming. Happy travels!!! Love, Carlynn
So wonderful to see photos of Scott and Xander! What a darling little boy. Sounds like you're having a great trip. Back here the weather's been cold, cold, and more cold- so you're lucky to be away!
Take care and safe travels!
Love,
Anne
Looks like you are having fun Marilyn, you are missing all the big snow here. I will be in Florida for 3 weeks Feb.9-Mar3. Looking forward to it.
Have fun. Maureen
Super summary! Thank you Marilyn, for this opportunity to share in your travels. Good pictures and information. So glad you had a good visit with your family members there.
Absolutely beautiful. What wonderful people they must be. Love how the students come in
early to clean the school. That should be standard practice in the USA. You write so
eloquently - you should write for a travel magazine. See you soon. Love, Carlynn
Thanks so much for sharing all of this. I have learned so much from you travel blogs. Bali looks like a place I would love to visit.
Have a wonderful time with the rest of your trip. Your missing the worse part of our winter and I am wishing I was there with you. Safe trip.
Bali culture is all about balance..........body & soul. It is magical and mystical, you can't help but be at peace with yourself....total serenity. AA rocks here! Mtgs every day, I get to them when I can. Have met a film producer from Australia & am having lunch & dinner with him....interesting man! Probably a little younger than me but he thinks he's older!!!!!!
Dear Cookie, Your trip thus far sounds absolutely wonderful and with your adorable 2 year old
grandson on top of everything, you must have been in heaven. Can't wait for your next entry
to hear all about your next exotic location. Be safe and God bless,
Carlynn
Wonderful and interesting trip of a dear friend Wow what wonderful photos. The children are darling. What an interesting small towns and city experience that I got to live with you through your blog. Thanks
