WOW Reads and looks as if you had a super time. Love the Syros picture. I feel as if I enjoyed the time myself. Mind you, I don't think that I would have driven one of those ATVs. Past (before?) my age group. glad you had such a good time.

Wanderlust Way to go Colin! Spearheading your way through 2 of the most magical and romantic countries in the world. Sigh. Susan and I waved to you from Greece! I look forward to reading more of your adventures!
A third WOW Thank you for sharing your trip with us. It is obvious that you had a great time and that it was very educational. As a teacher, I had to add that last part. Also, now I can brag that I know a "blogger". So where to next???
hmph i hated Thessaloniki...but then again i didn't know what the city had in particular to offer, i was the only english speaker i knew and i was in a crappy hostel.
I spent a day there and then high tailed it to Corfu on a night bus which dropped me off in the middle of a port town @ 3 am. Safe for a female? Notsomuch.
BUT, you make it sound much better and that clearly it has lots more to offer. Obviously i didn't do my research. Lesson learned.
Can't wait for the next instalment!
Another WOW! So, has Greece asked you to be their Official tourist REP? What a great holiday. Did you get any sleep? You make us "old folks" jealous. Looking forward to part three!
looks great ... Hey, the travel bug bites hard. Glad to see you're keeping up the tradition. Here's to lots more entries. Great read. Looking forward to the rest of them. Keep it up.
NICE! Hi Colin,
Pine Ridge just did a similar trip in May- Rome/Olympia/Mycenae/Epidaurus/Athens/Cruise. I'm glad you still find this stuff fascinating. Was there anything you saw that you learned about in Ancient Civ's?
Take Care,
Bruce Elliott
Great documentation! Wonderful, Colin! It certainly looks as though you enjoyed yourself. Your photos are fantastic and the story is nothing short of what I would expect from someone with a nack for details! Excellent! I look forward to reading the rest.
Travel Blog to TV? OK - is this a marketing blitz before you hit CBC television with your "Holidays with Hennigar" show? You are definitely better than those guys with little hair and lisps that do PBS. Excellent adventure!
Great Pictures! Hi, Colin!! Long time no see, and good to see that you are doing well! Wow, you are all over the world.. Those are great pictures! Makes me wants to go to Greece, too...! :D Please keep me updated on how you are doing! Have a great summer!
