So, I kinna always knew that, should sacrifices have to be made, the first thing that I would cut back on would be groceries. I have discovered that there is an art to living on the cheap. It’s all about priorities: grapes = priority, train to work = priority, getting to Mozambique = priority, yogurt cappachino smothered datey treats = definite priority, cooking with more than 4 ingredients however = not so much….Thus have been living on various combinations of cabbage, Soy sauce, carrots, onions and spices for dinner for the last couple of weeks…getting old? Maybe a tad… There is this saying among some of the interns here, TIA: “This Is Africa”.
