Thank you for the info.! Hi Anna,
Thank you so much for adding the information about the donkeys in Petra, we are heading to Jordan next and we will make sure to stop by The Brooke Animal Clinic.
NOTE: I tried to visit their web site as you posted it on you blog, and it appears that they have changed it to "www.thebrooke.org".
I hope that you are both well and happy!
Hi! I just found your blog through a recommendation of another travelbloggers...Wow...we've been to so many of the same places with few weeks difference.
So I chose to comment on your entry of Luxembourg, place where I was born and that I left 14 years ago. You wouldn't believe it, but they can party quite hard in Luxembourg these days...wouldn't believe it personnally till I spoke to some of my old friends.
You've got a great blog...and I'm waiting for your next trip. Peter
Lucky you!! I spent all my childhood holidays camping in the Loire and the Dordogne and your blogs have bought it all back. Sounds like you are having a fab time and I am full of envy. Can't wait till thses bloody kids are at Uni and we can do the same thing. Keep up with the info. What with your and Imogen's blogs I am happy living vicariously!LOL
Cool school trip! Nice photos Anna! so you didnt master the snowboarding huh?! Looked like so much fun though....in our day we were lucky to get to the beach on a school trip! haha
Lovely Leh Mid to late August. The weather was great. Pleasantly hot in the lowlands but still damn cold up in the mountain passes. Colder at night too.
Loved your blog. I managed to avoid the ruse in Fatehpur Sikri,
but our guide pouted so much it nearly ruined the day. Hope to
catch more of your adventures. India is amazing.
India Loved your blog on this, we were there in 1981 and low and behold things certainly haven't changed. We were sick so took the most expensive bus to Agra to visit th Taj - unfortunately for us (yeah right!!) the airconditioning had broken down on the bus that day, apparently that is the standard answer - mind you its really worth the whole trip. Am very jealous !!!!!
Loving India Hey Guys! im so excited that your inIndia. I decided to book myself a two month holiday flying solo the year before last. And...I had the time of my life! Yes Delhi is confonting isnt it, i agree with all youve said! My fav place was up north Dharamshala and Rishekish. I would have loved to have gone further up north than that but it started snowing in (late nov) so head up there if you can. Got cheap flight to Goa from Delhi so its worth once youve done up north to fly down (else youll live on a train for two days, v interesting!) and relax in Goa, best beach called Arumbol, bout half hour drive from Goa airport, not a commercial beach like the ones closer.
Enjoy, im jealous!

A couple of mid 20 year olds, started this blog back in 2006. We left our homeland of New Zealand and set off on our trip of a lifetime.
These entries follow our travels from our New Zealand to London and back again. Total geeks - no Las Vegas or full moon parties here. We used '1001 Natural wonders' to plan our trips. Sometimes riding 5 hours on the back of a motorbike to see a waterfall or random rock formation.
Since arriving back home in New Zealand in 2011, travels haven't been much of a priority. The arrival of our amazing little baby has made us hang up our backpacks for a little... full info
