This has been the lesson of the last few months for me and it's AMAZING how He has brought such strong truth to my heart through random sermons and well, this blog. I love you!! |

| 14th August 2007 Tony | Chet and Kat who? - From: Sweet fellowship Bourdaux, Champange, Pinot and Cabs,Ale, stouts, Black and Tan's. Are all this that are nice to have. But sitting by the brewmaster or vines things seem to taste finer more rich, robust, smooth and satisfing. Drinks with the crafters and conductors of the symphony of flavor that is swirling and twisting within the glass in front of you, but there is something missing. Or so I have found in my life's journeys. As I ponder this covered in drywall dust and sweat, with bits insulation mindled within my hair; sitting on the front poarch with Blair exahusted from working all day long and late into the night we do not have the other partner in crime. For he is sitting thousand of miles away sipping and secret mixture barley, hops, and yeast (and the occasional grape blend). Sure we may be partaking a similar, let slightly more traveled vintage, mixture of flavor on the same day but it is not the same. But we look to the future, for within one weeks time we shall be reunited within the confounds of man love (come on it is completely hetero, we just like the complete experiance of the reformations practices). That is right we will be united in the realms of Man-dom, in our right hand we will have a hammer, in the left a longboard, in our other hand...well... when we put one of the other things down well shall have a stout or pipe or something else very yummy to share with each other. (If that seemed a little weird just re-read it with the Indian Jones theme song in your head and the voice of the movie announce guy saying and it will make perfect sence.) And for our wives they can hang out together too. We miss you both and are stoked that you are returning to us very soon. Pease be the Journey, Tony |

| 7th August 2007 Vlad | Expensive Switzwerland - From: Rain, Rain, Go Away Zurich is probably one of the most expensive cities in the world...coupled with the weak US dollars means...a lot of money. Geneva is not much cheaper either...don't eat anything by the lake in Geneva if you still want to have any money left. France is indeed quite a bit cheaper. |

Dont spend any time there- they are very anti-American. Are you going to be in London on a Sunday? | 9th July 2007 Blair | Living Vicariously - From: Just 400 Kilometers Out of the Way So knowing that you were heading into Belgium and that undoubtedly you would sniff your way through the countryside to some monk's brewery, I sat outside my house last night and barbecued ribs with Tony and Denny. We sipped on a Chimay blue, and I thought of Feivel. So with the flavor still on my tongue, I looked up at the sky and sang... "Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight Someone's drinking real Trappiste from the tap tonight. And even though I know how very far apart we are It helps to think we might be drinking under the same bright star. And when the night wind starts to sing a jealous lullaby It helps that monks learned how to export everywhere underneath the same big sky." |

| 8th July 2007 Sonia | Chhhhhhocolate... - From: The Gem of Belgium Oh Kat, that is exactly what I would be doing in Europe!! American chocolate doesn't compare. Enjoy some for me:) Love you! |
| 6th July 2007 Doug | With you in spirit... - From: CHHHHHHHHaarlem Wow, your comments about your Holland trip have been very refreshing. It brings back memories of the trip to Holland we took with Sam, Yola & Sheri in July 1976, including boat tour of Amsterdam, the beautiful countryside, the Ten Boom watch shop (I don't remember taking the tour). Yes, it really struck me powerfully as well to see the price they paid for doing the right thing and how God used them thru and Corrie after it all. |
