WOW!! I had no idea you were going anywhere but I sure am glad the Lord put it on my heart to see if you had...I needed to hear this my friend. This has been the lesson of the last few months for me and it's AMAZING how He has brought such strong truth to my heart through random sermons and well, this blog.
I love you!!
Katherine and Cheston,
I didn't know you were going to be on a cruise with R.C. Thank you for sharing some of the thoughts from his talk. I want to hear more when you come back (and it would be great to benefit from your wine and cheese party skills learned at the workshop).
Love,
Sheri
Awwwww...Velzy:) So funny that you prayed about Velzy. Oh, do I have memories of that little one:) Tell the kids aunty Sonia loves and misses them! This was great guys. I loved being a part of your trip and totally looked forward to the next entry. So much so that I checked for another when I knew you were already home. I Bet nobody else did that. Wait....Are you being stalked? hmmmm...
Love and miss you and still praying for you and your family as the Lord brings you to mind often.

Wow GREAT pics of Paris and the tower! But who is that bearded Euro that Kat is taking intimate pictures with? :-)
I went to check on Gidget and Velz under the guise of buying New York Life Insurance. Stevie is taking good care of them.
Glad to see you are enjoying a great trip. Looking forward to your return!
Chet and Kat who? Bourdaux, Champange, Pinot and Cabs,Ale, stouts, Black and Tan's. Are all this that are nice to have. But sitting by the brewmaster or vines things seem to taste finer more rich, robust, smooth and satisfing. Drinks with the crafters and conductors of the symphony of flavor that is swirling and twisting within the glass in front of you, but there is something missing.
Or so I have found in my life's journeys. As I ponder this covered in drywall dust and sweat, with bits insulation mindled within my hair; sitting on the front poarch with Blair exahusted from working all day long and late into the night we do not have the other partner in crime. For he is sitting thousand of miles away sipping and secret mixture barley, hops, and yeast (and the occasional grape blend). Sure we may be partaking a similar, let slightly more traveled vintage, mixture of flavor on the same day but it is not the same.
But we look to the future, for within one weeks time we shall be reunited within the confounds of man love (come on it is completely hetero, we just like the complete experiance of the reformations practices). That is right we will be united in the realms of Man-dom, in our right hand we will have a hammer, in the left a longboard, in our other hand...well... when we put one of the other things down well shall have a stout or pipe or something else very yummy to share with each other. (If that seemed a little weird just re-read it with the Indian Jones theme song in your head and the voice of the movie announce guy saying and it will make perfect sence.)
And for our wives they can hang out together too.
We miss you both and are stoked that you are returning to us very soon.
Pease be the Journey,
Tony
Beaune Hi kids,
You are (were) at Dad's and my favorite place in France--Beaune. On the outskirts, there is a little place called "Cathedral du Images" (sp?) If you're still there, try not to miss it!
Expensive Switzwerland Zurich is probably one of the most expensive cities in the world...coupled with the weak US dollars means...a lot of money. Geneva is not much cheaper either...don't eat anything by the lake in Geneva if you still want to have any money left. France is indeed quite a bit cheaper.
Happy Anniversary I want to go for a long run in Zurich and in the beautiful meadow and by the creek! Wow! You are on a trip of a life time. So happy for you guys.....miss you though. Happy anniversary.
By the way....brother Steve had a kiiler solo in the VBS program. He rocked!
I feel as if I've seen it all through your fun, descriptive writings. I'm so glad you at least got to see the "fuzzy hat"; sorry about Oxford.
Miss you guys
I love this! Although I don't comment on every blog, I totally look forward to reading them every few days. Thanks for letting us be a part of your trip:)
Glorious Edinbrugh Greetings Mr. and Mrs. Hervey. Stacey and I fancey E-town as one of our favorites as well. looks like a couple of those pictures are fromt the royal mile, a good time indeed. I hope you spent the money to take the castle tour (i know 10 pounds seems steep). We took a tour in the Scotich wiskey heritage center where we basically paid for a taste of wiskey! Anyway, I'm sure Chet was like a little kid in a candy store to see Knox church and home. All the best to you - thanks for the post cared from Ireland - I am more Irish than anything, I take a inveterate loyalty to all things irish, as you know. I pray for you weekly - the Lord be with you.
yours,
AJ
The UK You guys are flying into Luton! That is where I spent 2 grueling yrs of my life for med school.. Dont spend any time there- they are very anti-American. Are you going to be in London on a Sunday? If so, check out the church I attended while I was there- right around the corner from Buckingham Palace: Calvary Chapel Westminster. It is held in an elementary school. Knowing Chet though, you may be planning on going to Spurgeons church- also recommended :-) -Kate
Love you guys Darf Gott dich segnen. I shoulda come w you guys to help translate! Are you still planning on Paris for your anniversary? Sooo romantic.. -Kate
