Brilliant photography!
These pics are terrific, especially the first one looking down into the steam rising between the rocks. Very informative too. Your grandad would love all that detail if someone would read it to him. Did you not get a pic of you on the farm bikes doing a footrot flats impression with the dog?

Awesome mate so jealous that your back out there having fun. i only spent a month in nz but i know its amazing... south island is just so beautiful and i think the most amazing things we saw were actually in transit looking out the window. We skydived lake wanaka, which u have got to do sometime in nz. But i think the highlight of our trip was walking up Mt tarankei in new plymouth (north island) when your up that way check it out. hardest thing i have ever done but such a good adventure. have a good one buddy

Wow!
Great views and pics. Knew there would have to be a waterfall in there somewhere!! Still up to your old tricks then - getting people to trek their little socks off after you, up hill and down dale and through all kinds of scub land - some things never change. Looks an incredible trip though. Mum X

Enough Snakes Already!
You're giving me the e-bee-gee-bees with all this talk about snakes! Great mountain though. I have been asked - do you have to climb every mountain you come across or have you just got a thing about mountains and waterfalls?!! See you soon, get some snake repelent spray for our tent though, eh?!! Love Mum

gert big spiders
Helloooo mate! Glad you're back on the track with the blogging. Lovin the pics of the bootiful dolphins and whales but not so much the big hairy spiders, eek! Is it very cold there at the moment, you both seem to be well wrapped up but it looks really bright and sunny? Me and Si are off to Spain on Wednesday to escape the rain - Glastonbury just finished back home and it was a complete mud bath. Anyway, I'm off to read your next blog now.....
