Brilliant photography! These pics are terrific, especially the first one looking down into the steam rising between the rocks. Very informative too. Your grandad would love all that detail if someone would read it to him. Did you not get a pic of you on the farm bikes doing a footrot flats impression with the dog?
Hey m8!!! I can not believe that a couple of months ago I was with you in Uk!!! I should be there too!!
I see that you're having a great time, enjoing avery second.
Take care and keep on follow you're way ( which way is that) :-P
See you soon my friend ;-)
Awesome mate so jealous that your back out there having fun. i only spent a month in nz but i know its amazing... south island is just so beautiful and i think the most amazing things we saw were actually in transit looking out the window. We skydived lake wanaka, which u have got to do sometime in nz. But i think the highlight of our trip was walking up Mt tarankei in new plymouth (north island) when your up that way check it out. hardest thing i have ever done but such a good adventure.
have a good one buddy
Wow! Great views and pics. Knew there would have to be a waterfall in there somewhere!! Still up to your old tricks then - getting people to trek their little socks off after you, up hill and down dale and through all kinds of scub land - some things never change. Looks an incredible trip though. Mum X
Very Nice Hi Mate,
You lucky git, looks very nice! Sorry I havnt had been able to speak to you since last week, every time i have called I cant get through, I will try call tonight.
Cant belive the scenery!! Amazing!! Speak soon mate, dont fall off any mountains!
Some Handsome Fellow... ...is taking the photo, should that be?? The lakes look lush, much nicer than our manky english ones, full of bum nuggets and scum.
WHY WOULD U BE HOLDING A KILLER SPIDER!?? Are those Huntsman spiders not the one's that when they bite you, your skin starts falling off?? Why, why would you do that??
HELLOOO! Hello Char and Libby! It sounds like you're both having a fantastic time and Libby is settling into this travelling malarky very well indeed. I was just reading about your steaks and I'm now dribbling on my keyboard - how was the crocodile steak? I'm off to read your next entry now so will write again on the next one...x
Empty Beach! This place looks lush - can't believe there isn't a soul on that huge stretch of beach! Shame you're memory ran out on the camera mate, haha! Bet you were gutted!? Nice to see you're embracing the local cuisine: "...having one of nicest kebabs I have ever tasted."
Enough Snakes Already! You're giving me the e-bee-gee-bees with all this talk about snakes! Great mountain though. I have been asked - do you have to climb every mountain you come across or have you just got a thing about mountains and waterfalls?!! See you soon, get some snake repelent spray for our tent though, eh?!! Love Mum
Cheeky possum "I would have let them have it if it hadn’t been for the fact I had a serious case of the hic cups..." - did you copy that from an episode of Scooby Doo??
Photogenic kangaroo's They must just love having their photo's taken those kanga's, they do genuinely seem to be smiling! The density of wildlife sounds great, how cool must that be waking up, looking out of your tent and seeing allsorts of animals!?
gert big spiders Helloooo mate! Glad you're back on the track with the blogging. Lovin the pics of the bootiful dolphins and whales but not so much the big hairy spiders, eek! Is it very cold there at the moment, you both seem to be well wrapped up but it looks really bright and sunny? Me and Si are off to Spain on Wednesday to escape the rain - Glastonbury just finished back home and it was a complete mud bath. Anyway, I'm off to read your next blog now.....
