After only an hour’s drive from the lovely thermal pools at Mataranka we arrived at Katherine, known specifically for its Gorge, huge termite mounds and Aboriginal Culture (rock paintings etc). After 1 year of travelling around S.E.Asia and up the east coast Australia, having the best time of my life, i have now been back in the UK for 10 months filling up the travel pot again. Sod all this cold weather and escallating prices!! ive booked my tickets and am off to the USA for 2 weeks on the 7th Sept en route to New Zealand for as long as I possibly can make it last.
